DEDICATIONS
This book is dedicated to my mother and father, Ronnie and Geraldine Freeman. For my brothers and sisters; Paul, Leon, Phyllis, and Leisa.
And a special thanks to Trina Scott.
To God almighty for giving me this gift.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
I would like acknowledge my father in heaven, who gave me this gift. Through God all things are possible. I would like to thank my dad, Ronnie A. Freeman. Growing up, my dad worked two jobs, preached on Sundays, and taught bible study on Mondays. Amazingly he still found time to raise five children, and to receive a college degree. To my mother, Geraldine Freeman, who made me go to church every Sunday. I don’t think I ever missed a Sunday. Thank you mom for your prayers. Without your prayers I never would have made it twenty years in the US Navy. To all of my brothers and sisters. Each one of you inspired me in some way. Growing up was so much fun with each of you. To all the haters and nay sayers. Your negativity fueled me to do the impossible. To everyone who reads this book may you be blessed and inspired by its contents.
Sincerely yours,
Phil
A Savior Was Born
image002.jpg100457-FREE-layout-low.pdfAfter his death on that day, we did mourn. Today we are forever grateful a savior was born. He came unto this world, born of a virgin named Mary. From his birth to his death, it was foretold a rugged cross he would carry. Our Lord wasn’t born in a five-star hotel complete with a hot tub and prime rib. He was born in a barn with animals in a manger for a crib. It was hard to believe this little baby came to save us from sin and strife. Can you fathom why there was an evil king who wanted to end his life? The Lord didn’t come to teach about Easter eggs or bunnies on store shelves. He came to give us a new life and to save us from ourselves. On that great day of his death, we did mourn. We should forever be grateful a savior was born.
There was an old man named Simeon, humble and full of grace. He refused to die until he saw the Lord’s face. There were also three wise men seeking the precious infant, coming from afar. Then an angel came unto them, saying, You can find the child if you follow the holy star. He is the Lord our God, the salt of the earth.
When they found the child, they presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Even as a child, he was special, one of a kind. He would later perform miracles, curing the sick and giving sight to the blind. The Lord did many amazing things like feeding
