Two women take to Gods Country after the big city just about eats them up. Lilly a talented artist, freed from her parents by the court runs to the mountain cabin her grand-parents left to her. Lillys neighbor Joanne a retired dressmaker and widow sells everything after her husband dies and buys an A-frame house in a small mountain community. Her nearest neighbor is half mile down the road.
