Poems: Planting Seeds for Life
()
About this ebook
These poems give wisdom to those that understand them and advise you to place your life and trust in God. Put Him first in your life, and everything else will fall in place. Please let Him in and receive the blessings he has for you.
Clara Johnson
Clara has gone through much sickness and trials, but the Lord has delivered her. Through it all, she counts it all as joy because of the things that she received while she was well. Her love for God caused her to give her life to Christ, totally surrendering it all to him by forgetting the past and pressing toward the mark of a higher calling, which is writing God’s Word and making it rhyme.

THANKS, TO ALL MY FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND THE PEOPLE I’VE MET THROUGHOUT THE YEARS, WHOM I GAVE THE POEMS TO, AND THE ONES WHO PROOFED SOME OF THEM AND URGED ME TO ONE DAY WRITE A BOOK… THEY ARE THE ONES WHO PLANTED THE SEED, AND NOW WE’LL WATCH UNTIL IT FORMS TO FRUITION.
Introduction
Poems: Planting Seeds For Life deal with everyday living. All of us have some things going on that we either deal with, or we don’t. These poems touch on the lives of children, mothers, fathers, marriages, divorces, authority figures, death, inspirations, and the faithful love of God.
Some of these poems were written recently, and some over several years; and given to people in their time of need, so that they might receive a revelation, comfort, or to be read at a funeral to give a little comfort to those that are grieving.
From the people that read my poems, I received a lot of thanks and feedbacks on how much some of the poems helped them spiritually, gave them guidance, confirmations with answers they needed, and comfort when they needed it most. Either way, it was given from the heart, with a lot of love and compassion.
I’ve always written poems and short stories from the age of ten. Reading was always my favorite hobby. Many of these poems, I was able to keep copies, and that’s how this book came about.
Where ever you are in the process of your life, or whatever you are going through, I hope these poems inspire you in some way.
My poems are guiding you to look to God for which comes all our help, no matter what you are going through. You should know, God is in control!
Life is like a seed; it’s planted, it grows, it produces, it provides, and then it dies. Isn’t that the process of life?
Take the time to plant a seed. You will never know what words you say, that might impact someone’s life. That little nugget of wisdom planted at the right time, into that mind, will take root, and be acknowledged as a word of God given truth. The seeds consist of:
Speaking words of wisdom
Being honest and truthful; even if it hurts
Showing love and compassion
Believing in Gods love for you
Knowing He’ll always be there
And you are never alone
Some how and some way, that seed is rooted within. Stand back, it takes time and sometimes years, but it will sink in and bloom. Words spoken truthfully and believing in God’s faith and grace are never forgotten.
These seeds of wisdom provide words of encouragement, understanding, love and compassion, fellowship to our rulers and people in authoritative positions who make decisions for our livelihood. Most people want to be able to live and survive by providing for themselves, but as the world is now, or forever was, its not that way. There are some that can’t make these decisions for themselves, and need the help of others.
We must learn to live and be respectful of one another. It doesn’t matter what race, color or gender, we are all Gods children, and He loves us all.
Inspire
Plant A Seed
EACH TIME YOU PLANT A SEED,
SOME GROWTH WILL PROCEED.
YOU MIGHT NOT SEE THE EFFECTS RIGHT AWAY,
BUT WATCH THE PROGRESSION DAY BY DAY.
SOMETIMES IT SEEMS NOTHING IS TAKING ANY EFFECT;
AND TO YOUR SURPRISE, WHAT YOU THOUGHT WOULD BE A WRECK,
A BEAUTIFUL REVELATION APPEARS BEFORE YOUR EYES.
THEY LISTENED, AND YOU SEE THEM RISE.
SUDDENLY YOU SEE THEM ARRIVE;
AND YOU WATCH THEM THRIVE,
IT DOESN’T HURT TO GIVE A VOICE OF WISDOM;
AND WATCH THEIR BLESSINGS COME.
PLEASE KEEP PLANTING THOSE KNOWLEDGEABLE SEEDS.
YOU NEVER KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE IT WILL FEED.
The Building of Faith
Once upon a time in life, I decided to enjoy,
All that the world had to offer, and experience life like a child with a toy.
I had happiness, love, peace, and joy, I thought,
But it wasn’t the life for me, my parents had sought.
In the beginning everything was fine,
As long as you’re partying
