Born in the rural Pacific Northwest—where her immigrant mother and Ohio-born Army veteran father met—Anne Louise Grimm, member of the National Society of Newspaper Columnists, distributes weekly by email as [e-mail] the free 600 word Grimmly Reflecting essays. Photo-journalist and publicist with her own darkroom (before buying a digital camera) she is an FCC-licensed radio Amateur [Extra class] KA7TON, codes her own website, http://www.willapabay.org/~anne writing fantasy, science fiction, history, how-to and verse in her second language, English. Speaking also German and Spanish she has traveled, by sea, air, and highway, all states but Hawaii, Central American countries except Belize, extensively in Mexican states, and more recently, only Western Canada. Anne has co-directed, directed, and been a speaker at writer conferences, conducted workshops and seminars, done 35mm presentations and poetry readings all in North America, having driven between the Northwest and Panama five times.
