Lily Sparkletoon

Lily Sparkletoon is a student of the human condition, wielding the written craft to enrapture the mind much like an artist wields a brush. The pages are a blank canvas on which to draw from a talent heralded by many and matched only by an imagination that rises to the task. This is her sixth book.

    Author’s Note

Writing is a passion. Look within your environment there is a diverse inspiration to write just about everything. This story takes place over time. The time from the dimensional world and the real world are different. The only escape maybe to let time go by.

    Thoughts

George W Curtis once said, While we read history we make history.

James Thomas Fields once said Oh, to be home again, home again, home again!   Under the apple-boughs, down by the mill!

Robert Browning once said, God made all the creatures, and gave them our love and our fear, To give sign we and they are his children, one family here.

Sophocles once said, War loves to seek its victims in the young

Samuel Butler once said It hath been said that an unjust peace is to be preferred before a just war

Benjamin Franklin once said, There never was a good war or a bad peace.

Sun Tzu once said If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.

Confucious or Kongzi once said, No matter how busy you may think you are, you must find time for reading, or surrender yourself to self-chosen ignorance.

    Words

Nothing I hate more than a liar.

Someone who makes my day ruined and my temper fire.

The person who thinks they can rule the day.

They seek their own power and have the blessings of those who are higher.

They get away with it so they seem.

One day they will dull not gleam.

You know who you are. I am not telling no joke

You stole that which was mine and claim you are being quite fair.

You treated me like I do not deserve to be here.

I get treated and bullied about.

You act so high and mighty and hire only your friends.

You make judgements but try in vain to make amends.

You owe apologies to me and two others.

You act like i am flexible yet you do not know.

You think i don’t have a life anymore and i feel like i want to go.

You stole what was mine and that is a fact.

You act like I am the one being unreasonable tack.

    Thorns and Games

    You have betrayed my trust

That I dare say is the truth.

Nothing more can be said just think of this all I have to say

    You listened to a liar.

    They speak with forked tongue.

They took away what was mine.

You do not listen. I wasted my words and my breath.

You hurt me and tell me to go to the one I dare not trust.

How can I? She claims that she has never been biased to me or bullied me of any sort?

They lie and cheat and run amuck. You will chase the ones you treasure away.

You have let them ruin everyone’s day.

    Leaving was not of choosing.

    harassed and forced to leave.

Because of another I was told not to even speak to you or any other.

Was told to not even tell the one that was the leader of the other game.

    Keeping lives separate and divided.

Brought people over and that is something that you do not know.

    You want everything to grow.

Yet things wilt and dry as everyone flees the place.

Why cant you see what you done to me. I am hurt and that’s a fact.

    There is live for outside.

Things to do besides what is online.

There is school and the fish too.

You say im the one being unreasonable

You stand there like a stone and turn me away so pride is hurt and so much so.

I feel like I am no longer wanted here and feel like I must go.

No one in those rooms wants an independent soul around anyway.

Where have all the independent hosts gone?

They have only gone to two places.

Never to one four rooms down.

You leave me with not a smile but a frown.

    Foreword Thinking

The characters in this book learn more about themselves as the story goes. Finding about one’s true self is the ultimate goal obtained through the eyes of the characters. One can only hope one can see a bit of us in them well. They learn about life and love. The greatest power knows about how we should always celebrate life. We never know when one day it will be our last.

    Prologue: Introduction

There are places in America where the city and country seem to intertwine. People who live in such places sometimes work in the small town in which they live in or sometimes in a nearby, larger town. The Fitzpatricks enjoyed the life as members of a retired armed forces family. The family of four lived in a small, southern town. The town was not a large one in any sense of the word.

Mr. Fitzpatricks worked in town and also farmed. Mrs. Fitzpatricks was a school teacher. Their son, Arlen, was approaching his senior year in high school. Then there was the one who stood out, as the most different, was the youngest member of the family, Tiara Fitzpatricks.

Tiara loved to draw. She had been drawn to it as like reading poetry. The two were second nature. The art was an extension of her words. Everything worked together. One day Tiara hoped to become a published author.

    (3) (4)

Tiara loved also to draw. She drew while she was still young. This was a passion that needed more tending to blossom and grow. This was something she loved doing when she had a stolen moment,

The day was rather plain, just like any other. But, the weather was so hot that the air seemed heavier. The sky was not too cloudy, just another boring day, in a little town, in some ordinary kid’s life.

Poetry was the assignment for Tiara Fitzpatrick’s literature class. Some considered a genius and mischievous by those who barely knew her. Some would say Tiara had all the luck. She had good luck when she needed it. There were people that were jealous of Tiara, thought that she cheated to be so lucky and find ultimate success.

The morning is good, said Tiara to herself. She got dressed for a carefree day of leisure. Tiara had many activities, and there was little time to do them all. She planned to do some shopping for an upcoming camping trip.

Tiara went down to eat a morning meal and then before the adventures of the day. Tiara’s mom said, I packed your favorites for a picnic lunch.

    Tiara said, Thank you, Mom.

Tiara’s mom handed Tiara some money and said, I know you are looking forward to this trip. Tiara responded, It will be an adventure to vast such a mystical place.

Tiara left her ordinary house. She hoped this would be just an ordinary day. There was a new bookstore Tiara had heard about that carried new books, as well as has a selection of very old books, about fantasy adventures. To read a book about mysterious mythological and fantasy places was a way to escape her ordinary life in the dreary, slow, southern town.

Books are a useful tool in acquiring knowledge. Reading is something to be shared. Books record both reality and fantasy. The knowledge garnered from a book can determine the path the next generation takes. Books tell a story or share a common theme in order to make a particular point.

The ordinary house Tiara lived in was filled with books and technology. Their family had things that most only hoped and dreamed to own. Tiara had many things, given to her by friends and relatives, due to the talent she had in helping student athletes pass exams so they could play in the championships. Her room was filled with the latest items in computer technology. Tiara was part book fiend, part geek, and part ordinary teenager as well as quite an artist.

Chapter One: Shopping Trip/Trip to a Book store

Tiara went to the animal feed and hardware store. There were some items she required for the trip. Some of the items she needed included twine, nails, and a hammer. Tiara found some peanuts and empty cloth sacks, as well. These were things Tiara needed as part of survival camping.

Tiara knew the owner of the store well. The owner handed her a condensed gear pack. For nearly a week, she had waited for this package. It contained specialty items required for the trip. Tiara left the store after putting away the new pack.

Tiara went to the new book store. She headed to the older antique books section of the store. Tiara wanted to look at the books. The store was very new and Tiara had only heard of it through word of mouth.

While searching the various shelves, she found a book with a strange symbol. The bookstore shopkeeper noticed the bright and inquisitive Tiara. He thought, Could she be the one that destiny claimed to save another world? There is only one way to find out.

There was a hidden section which would tell if Tiara was destined to be that person. The bookstore shopkeeper said, I know of another book, similar to this one. The other book is the companion to this one.

Tiara responded to him, The book seems perfect. I would like to see the other book. The bookstore shopkeeper said, You can bring the book you are holding with you.

Tiara followed the shopkeeper to the inner bookshelves. The entrance to the room made Tiara feel uneasy. Tiara had a feeling that she was being scanned. In fact, she had been scanned by a mystical beam, to prove her worth. Tiara passed the test with flying colors.

The shopkeeper showed her the books, and then left the room. Tiara thought that was odd. She temporarily put the books on the shelf, following the written instructions on the table. This gave her time to look around this crazy room. Her curiosity got the best of her.

Tiara turned the corner and found, what appeared to be food and drink on the table. She was unsure of this strange but curious bookstore. The place was weird. Tiara knew this was an opportunity to read new fantasy books, she stayed.

This was a large selection. Time did not seem to matter. This place was new. Place seemed to be safe. There were plenty of books to select.

Tiara wanted the right book to read at night. There might be a book that she would need for camping such as a campfire cookbook. Tiara had no idea that this was no ordinary place. This bookstore was special. This one was special indeed.

The bookstore was like a moth to a flame. The attraction was there. This was the test of a greater power. The best way to describe the power as the kind that would find changes like a plot in a good science fiction book or television show is the simplest explanation. Time would go by there as if there was nothing going on outside.

The weather would be the same. The attraction would keep those there until the time was right. The alignments had to be perfect to release the capture from the library. The facts would reveal themselves but it would be too late for Tiara to realize it.

Because Tiara knew it must be getting late, she went to the door, but the door seemed to be locked or stuck. She began to panic and that is when the room got weird.
