Wendle Thacker

Born in 1958, I grew up in a dysfunctional family. I learned in 1970 that God had given me the talent of Puzzle Making. At that time I pushed this blessing aside, and instead followed art and Rock music. I didn’t seriously return to using this talent until after I graduated High School in 1976. With more free time, I could devote myself more intently to this type of vocation. Since then, I have worked full time for twenty seven years, have now retired and am living my dream of being a free lance author.

ALL PUZZLES USE WORDS TAKEN FROM THE KING JAMES VERSION BIBLE.

Bible Acrostics

The alphabetical-lettered clues are portions of the scriptures taken from the Bible book identified in the top right comer. Fill in the blanks of the missing words, then use the numbers under each letter to transfer THAT letter into the grid at the bottom of the page. (The square with the # I in it will also have a letter to the clue at the top which bears the number I). A correctly filled in grid reveals a portion of Bible Scripture.

Cross Reference

From the Bible book identified in the top right comer, and the verse number noted in the parenthesis after each clue, fill in the letters of the missing word. Then use the numbers under each letter’s blank to fill in THAT LETTER into the same numbered blank of the grid at the bottom of the page. The correctly filled-in grid reveals a portion of Bible scripture.

Crypto-Verse

Each individual alphabet letter represents ANOTHER alphabet letter throughout all of the numbered puzzles on the page you are solving. Use the Clue letter exchange to get you started. EXAMPLE: if the clue is X = D , then ALL of the X s on the whole page need to be replaced with the letter D.

Fill-Ins

Simply use the words from the list and fill them into the puzzle grid, one letter per square. A starter word is already filled in at its proper place in the puzzle grid.

Run-Ons

Look up the Bible chapter (King James Version) identified at the top right of the page. Then, using the clue graph located under the puzzle grid, at the # 1, the verse number
