About this ebook

The goal of this fictional epic tale is to bring about a pragmatic understanding of prophetic events found in the book of Revelation and other principal scriptures. My duty here is to bring you into each short story, that is, to present the stories in such a way you are living the experience. These stories deal with information about biblical truths: plagues, wars, famines, and pestilence. A story is a helper in understanding the truth. Yeshua used parables, short stories to convey absolutes. My hope is that if you are not a diligent reader of scripture, then this fictional tale will inspire you to become one.

    Author’s Note

2015 Perilous Times is a fictional work.

However, it is based on the book of Revelation, which is future events.

Those events are unfolding even now with the call for a new world order and the current single currency in Europe. Every prophetic pronouncement mentioned in Revelation and elsewhere in scripture will indeed occur somewhere in time. It is written in scripture, For this is what the Lord of Hosts says; It won’t be long before one more time I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land; and I will shake all nations, so that the treasures [currency] of all nations will flow in [one world government] and I will fill this House [rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem] with glory, says, the Lord of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says, the Lord of hosts (Haggai 2:6-8).

There is a principle in the Word of God concerning events that occur to rebellious, sinful nations, namely, war, famine, and pestilence. So the question shouldn’t be why, Lord? but what must we do to be saved from the disasters overtaking the world? I am not the one who makes predictions about future events found in holy scripture. If any thing remotely similar to my fictional tale happens before or in the year 2015 or afterward, then this is mere happenstance. Our greatest enemies are the ones we have befriended who act contrary to the overture; such is the demise of a nation who befriends a once rogue, cruel, and barbaric empire.

    Introduction

Dear reader, 2015 Perilous Times is a book about profound events that occurred between years 2015-2022 and the millennium of Yeshua, the Messiah. The events foretold in the book of Revelation came to pass; I know they did because I lived to publish this work. Prophecy teachers base their beliefs and published works on biblical history and future events predicted in the Word of God. There is a principle in the Word of God concerning events that occur to rebellious, sinful nations, namely, war, famine, and pestilence. In my day, I beheld nations rising up against other nations and ethnic groups fighting each other. On this planet, we have had two world wars and many small wars; there have been numerous tribal clashes in various countries. Since the dawn of time, wars have existed, starting with Cain murdering Abel; God accepted Abel’s offering and rejected Cain’s. This war Cain started was over jealousy; conflicts between brothers, neighbors, and nations are a fact in history and continues to this very day. The United States of America came into existence through war: Anglo-Saxons fleeting religious persecution departed England to come to the New World. The British Empire also came to this new land with the intent and for the purpose of conquest, to dominate and find means to finance their ever-growing kingdom. Heavy taxations on imported goods was the chief cause the people rose up against Britain and through war expelled them from the shores of what now is called the United States of America. Famine has always lifted its ugly head throughout human existence; the first known famine came about in Egypt during a time when a young Jewish boy who was sold in slavery by his jealous brothers became a trusted counselor to the pharaoh. God, who created the heavens and earth, gave special talents and gifts to Joseph, a dreamer of dreams. God, in fact, warned Joseph in a dream about a coming famine that would occur throughout the then-known world. Through a gift of wisdom, Joseph amassed enough food to feed the people in Egypt and those who came from a far looking for refuge from the deadly effects of famine. Pestilence in modern times came in the form of plagues, such as diseased-rat infestations, yellow fever, tuberculosis (also known as consumption, a deadly lung disease). Many diseases were averted with washings: body, hands, and feet with some form of soap, as well as cleaning one’s house; practicing cleanliness has slowed down or outright stopped the spread of
