    THE HAND, THE PALM AND THE FINGERS

    HAND

    Large Hands

    Belong to those people who are fond of very fine work and relish to know even the minute details of life. They generally write a small hand, are great sticklers for etiquette, are easily offended by little breaches of courtesy.

    Small Hands

    These are the hands of the people having just opposite characteristics to the ones described above. They write a large hand and look at things in a broad, quickly satisfied manner. They are easily pleased and do not get offended soon. Very fine things transcend their comprehension and they prefer the bustle of life to its smaller duties.

    The Soft Hand

    It belongs to the person having poetical temperament, the owner of it is more ruled by imagination, nerves and often senses rather than by cold logic. It is more frequently the woman’s hand. However, if it becomes more flabby then all the above characteristics are increased to danger point. The owner of it is generally lazy, the voluptuary, the utterly selfish and heartless, and as a natural consequence, the hand of the ‘turn-coats’ and cunning persons.

    The Hard Hand

    It denotes a practical and generally unimaginative person, if the hardness is not exaggerated it is the sign of a straight forward disposition, fond of activity and even hard work. Such a person will not be demonstrative in his or her affections but shall remain steadfast and reliable. He will have infinite capacity to bear hardships courageously.

    Our hands generally grow harder, less supply and dryer as we grow older. Hence always consider the age of the person while reading his or her palm to decide the category of the hand under your
