Reviews for Read and Learn Numerology
4 ratings1 review
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Little more explanation on personality based on alphabet name numerology is missing. It misses all aspects about lucky mobile, lucky bank ac number, combination of angel numbers, lucky dates calculation etc . This seems to be a copy paste of other famous numerology books first few intro pages and overview. Can read about it just for absolute introduction levels. Not worth buying a print copy for sure. Just seems like a book launched for fame and "label of being an author". Total copy paste of other big value books. Seriously shame on the author

INTRODUCTION
The story of invention and evolution of numbers goes back to the pre-historic times of remote antiquity. In almost all ancient religious texts, numbers are frequently referred to. It were the ancient Hindus of India to whom the beginnings of our present system of numbers is ascribed. The Arabs learnt these numerals from the Hindus of India in hoary past, and in their turn, they taught it to the Italians and other Europeans.
More than 5,000 years ago, the Sumerians and Chaldeans had a system of enumeration with 60 as a base. About a thousand years later we find among the Egyptians, a set of numerals designed by pictures. These pictures symbolising numbers and a language were called Hieroglyphics. The Hebrew learnt these numbers from the Egyptians. The Hebrew priests and prophets spread the science of numbers to many other countries. Thus, from India, the birth place of numbers, this science spread gradually to other parts of Europe and the world.
The ten symbols and the decimal system was primarily based on ten fingers of hands. It was the counting of the fingers that gave birth to first arithmetic on which is based our entire system of enumeration, which later on developed in Europe into a system which is now universally used. The saying, Man is the measure of all things
, reminds us of this ancient past, when fingers formed the basis of all our counting.
But it was not until the advent of the Greek philosopher, occultist, astronomer, numerologist and mathematician Pythagoras in the sixth century B.C., that numbers were correlated with spiritualism, science, music and other branches of knowledge. It was he who claimed that all names are numbers. He made numbers the foundation of all knowledge and said that numbers influence the essence of things and that the numbers are mediators between the divine and the earthly. His school asserted categorically that various number operations effect things represented by numbers. Pythagoras revealed the escoteric meaning of numbers in relation to events, and preached that the mysteries of universe can be learnt only through numbers.
Pythagoras and his followers studied the nature, quality and significance of numbers, and classified them into odd and even, male and female, good and evil. They believed that odd numbers were lucky and powerful, and the even ones were flexible and fluid. Thus, the interaction between numbers and other branches of human knowledge came into being. They discovered their personality, character, sex and spirituality and declared that nothing can either be conceived or known without Numbers.
They formed the first school of thinkers who studied the occult side of numbers in relation to humanity, future events and fortunes. They were also the pioneers in translating Geometry and other branches of human knowledge into numbers.
All things including events, thoughts, emotions are names. A name involves language and letters and their vibrations. Numerology is based on these vibrations. Each and everything that has a name can be reduced to a vibratory number. A vibration is an electro-magnetic wave, or energy in motion, which affects and is affected favourably or adversely by such other currents.
Numerology teaches us how to be in tune and harmony with the laws which create, control and sustain life and existence. Numerology is a study of occult significance of numbers and their influence in relation to us the human beings. If we keep pace with the laws of creation and are in assonance with them, then success, happiness, health, peace and rapid evolution towards the desired state of perfection are assured.
The practical or applied side of numerology helps an individual by revealing him his personal number vibrations, to discover his areas of strength and points of weakness, and thereby it forewarns him of impending dangers well before their occurrence, so that he may take remedial
