21185 - 4th of July!

This year our Independence Day celebrations went off as an incredible anti-climax.

Most states loosened their lock-down requirements and other crazy covid rules, and the United States of America celebrated a seemingly normal 4th of July.

I was especially proud of the many Californians who defied the nanny state’s fireworks verbot.

Headlines like Illegal Fireworks Seen Across Sacramento All Fourth Of July Night were common.

There are several counties where fireworks are illegal because of the fire hazard.

This is understandable.

But there are other counties and cities like Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, and most other cities of Orange County where Safe and Sane fireworks are legal.

Not so for the entire county of Los Angeles!

There, hiding behind the fire hazard excuse, all fireworks are illegal, regardless of the city.

There are 88 cities in Los Angeles county, and most are not near fire hazard zones.

In a country where the right to bear arms is a right, fireworks are nevertheless at the mercy of a nanny state that treats you like a child.

Enough said.

21187 - Did John McAfee really kill himself?

In a heartfelt open letter, Janice McAfee lays out her feelings and reasons to believe that John McAfee did not commit suicide in his cell in Spain:

I pray to God that John McAfee has somehow paid off the prison guards to fake his death and smuggle him out of prison. But, we will probably never know — or at least, not until we know who killed Kennedy.
