I was born in 1949 in San Jose, California, I was born to a German American mother and a Mexican Amercian father. But I was raised with an African American stepfather.I get my dyslexia from my mother's side of the family. And my half sisters and brothers have it too. And with my dyslexia, it was hard to be in school. Kids teased me and said I was retarded, and I got that all throughout my life. It was a nice day on planet Draco. As Princess Cristin went swimming, she happened to look up and saw about twenty Dragons flying her way.

The Dragons saw her getting out of the water and putting on a blanket over her swimsuit and going into her tent.

Cristin emerged from her tent wearing a green dress, and she saw the Dragons landing on the field, making shrieking noises as they started shrinking and transforming into humans while their clothes started coming out their skin.

Princess Cristin, your father has been taken to his deathbed and is asking for you and your brother, Centurion Bennett said.

My father is dying? What is wrong with him? Cristin asked.

We do not know. He got sick right after eating breakfast, Centurion Bennett replied.

Is my mother and brother there? Cristin asked.

Your brother got there just as we were leaving to find you. He told your mother and father that he was coming back in the morning, Centurion Bennett replied.

I will go with you, Centurion Bennett, Cristin said while transforming into her Dragon form, and her wings became beautiful colors red, white, blue, and gold.

As she started taking off, Cristin heard a voice in her mind. Princess Cristin, your father said that I am supposed to be with you all the time, Sub-Centurion Andrew said.

As Dragons, they could communicate with each other telepathically.

    Okay, Sub-Centurion Andrew, Cristin replied.

Andrew heard her speak in his mind.

After some time, Cristin was hurting and wanted to cry as she saw her castle and started coming in for a landing and saw her mother at the door.

Thank our great Dragon you are here. Your father does not have that much time left, Rosalyn, Cristin’s mother, said.

No matter how she felt, Cristin knew that she had to go into that room and passed some of the guards. A handmaiden opened the door, and she went inside. Rosalyn followed her in. She saw her brother by her father’s bedside.

Chase, what’s wrong with our father? Cristin asked.

I do not know what’s wrong with our father, Chase replied.

Chase and Cristin, I am glad that you are here. I am going to die today, and, Chase, I am not going to make you the new king, but instead I am going to make Cristin the new queen because you are too rough on your subjects. One was with Cristin’s ten-hatch-year-old kitchen maiden. Anna accidentally dropped some food on the floor. All Cristin did was to tell her to get some more food, and the next day, she did it to you, my son, and you condemned her to the dungeons for two days and two nights without any food and water, but her mother talked me out of it due to her age. That is not all I saw you do. You got mad at one of your guards for running into you on the field. A good king would have just laughed it off. That’s what I would have done with young guards and kitchen maidens. Now go and leave me and my wife, Rosalyn, as well as the lawyer. King Paul said.

Chase and Cristin left the room and entered the big hall, and they sat at a big table next to the fireplace.

Father should have made me the new king and not you as the next queen. You are only eighteen hatch years old, and I am twenty-three hatch years old, Chase said in an angry voice.

Our father is dying, and you think that you should be the next king? Cristin replied in an angry voice, weeping.

After one hour, Queen Rosalyn came out of the room with a book and looked at Cristin and then at Chase. Your father has gone to our great Dragon, and he has made you the new queen of Castle Draco, but your father did say if you die, Cristin, your brother will be the next king, Rosalyn said, trying not to fall apart.

Mother, I may die before her, Chase said, but in his heart, he knew that Cristin had to die.

You know that men live longer than women by two hundred hatch years, Rosalyn said.

Mother, Cristin may live for another eight hundred hatch years, Chase said.

Chase, do not think like that because I am only 125 hatch years old. And when you came, Chase, I was 102 hatch years old. And when Cristin came, I was 107 hatch years old. Chase and Cristin, it does not matter how many young girls or boys your talons intertwine with, Rosalyn said.

Mother, I have not locked my talons with any man or boys, Cristin replied.

I know you have not, Cristin, but your brother has with some of the village girls, Rosalyn said.

As night fell, they gave the king a funeral, and four men transformed into Dragons and flew the casket past the three moons. Queen Rosalyn started transforming into her Dragon form and lifted off the ground and flew past the three moons to the four men. She took a deep breath and breathed out a fireball and set the casket on fire, and then she returned to the ground.

When a husband or wife dies, it is up to the wife or husband to send them to our great Dragon, as one of you will do to me one day, Rosalyn said.

Mother, I do not know how to run our kingdom, Cristin said.

Just keep an eye on me, and I will show you, Cristin. And now, Chase, you need to go and find this golden Dragon egg that all princes of your age must do. And take all of your guards with you and leave until you find it, or your one hundred years is up, Rosalyn said.

Mother, Father had told me that story, and he never found that golden Dragon egg, Chase said, knowing that it was never true.

Nevertheless, you need to go and stay away at least one hundred years before you return, Rosalyn said.

Mother, Cristin may be married by then, and I will ever be king of Castle Draco, Chase said.

I did not tell you that your father also wrote in this book that if you do not go and look for this golden Dragon egg for at least one hundred years, you will be exiled from here for the rest of your life, even if your sister dies, Rosalyn said.

Mother, how can I live and feed my men if I do not have any gold? Chase asked.

All the towns that you will land in will have all the gold you need to live on because the day you were hatched, we started sending out bags of gold for your quest for this golden Dragon egg, Rosalyn said.

Mother, I will go and find this golden Dragon egg, and I will come back, and I will be king of Castle Draco. I will take my men who know how I treat them, Chase said.

Yes, I have heard of some of the trouble you cause in one of the inns, Rosalyn said.

Early the next morning, Prince Chase and all of his men started transforming into their Dragons and flew away.

Mother, will Chase ever find this golden Dragon egg? Cristin asked.

I do not know. No one has ever found this golden Dragon egg yet, not even a prince or a commoner, Rosalyn replied.

Cristin and her mother returned to the castle. Some of the handmaidens looked happy, while others looked sad.

Meanwhile, Chase stopped for the night, and he spoke to his centurion. Why should I trouble myself looking for this golden Dragon egg? My mother is not going to stop me from becoming the next king. I am going to take all of that gold and build me a big army, and I am going to take back my kingdom, Chase said.

Those are bold words from my king. It may take all of that gold you get, and maybe more, Sub-Centurion Tracy said.

If it takes me the whole one hundred years to take back my kingdom, after that, I will kill my sister, Chase said.

Meanwhile, back at Castle Draco in the big dining room, Rosalyn and Cristin sat at a table next to the fireplace.

Cristin, your brother will not be back in at least fifty years, or his time is up, and I know that he did not like that your father made you the next queen, Rosalyn said.

Mother, I would rather give it back to him then have him take it by force, Cristin said.

You know that some of the kings are very cruel to their people, and I think that your father was right about your brother being a bad king, Rosalyn said.

Mother, with your help, I promise that I will be the best queen to our people and servants, Cristin said.

I know you are, Cristin, because you are good to them now, Rosalyn replied.

Meanwhile, the next day, Prince Chase landed next to a small town and found the place that had the gold that he needed and knew that it was true that his mother and father left gold in every town.

Sub-Centurion Tracy, go and see how many men you can get me, Chase ordered.

    Yes, sir, Tracy replied.

Tracy went to the next bar and saw some men who looked like they had no place to go.

I am looking for some men who are looking for an adventure with my king, and my king will pay them very well for their hard work and all the food, wine, and girls they want. It will be a long trip, and it will be at least one hundred years, Tracy said.

I have gone on one of those trips, and I lost one of my friends, one man named Compton said.

He is not looking for the golden Dragon egg. He wants his kingdom back from his sister, Tracy replied.

Then your king will need more gold and men than his sister has, Compton said.

He needs about twenty thousand men or more. Tracy replied.

I know of more men who like to go on adventures such as yours. and your king better pay us as good as you said he will, or your king will get killed before he starts his quest, Compton said.

I like your way of thinking because I would like to get back home before one hundred years is up,
