    Introduction

H.K. Hillman for Leg Iron Books

Justin Sanebridge was one of the very first authors to publish with Leg Iron Books. His novel, ‘The Goddess of Protruding Ears’ was later rewritten by him in Dutch as ‘De Godin van de Flaporen’ and is an entertaining read.

Later, he entered short stories for the Underdog Anthologies, the first Leg Iron Books author to have a novel published before Underdog Anthology stories, and so far the only one to have done that (I don’t count my previous work because it was published before Leg Iron Books existed and took it over).

Justin is, so far, in four of the Underdog Anthologies. These stories are from two of them (yes, nine stories in two anthologies!) because this collection is Christmas themed. He has another four in the other two anthologies.

Based in Bali, Indonesia but originally European (he prefers not to be too specific) he is fluent in English, Dutch, German, French, Indonesian and Antwerpian.

This is a short collection, but we all hope to see much more of his work in the future. I’ve said enough – I’ll let Justin continue with his stories from here.

The young women laughed and smiled back at him, tucking their legs up beneath them which Philip took as a sign to continue with his Christmas tale. He took another sip of eggnog and began.

Santa was about to leave for his annual trip to Earth when one of his elves reminded him that he had to visit Afghanistan. What? Afghanistan? Santa said. Do you mean that Muslim country where women walk around dressed in tents? Who could possibly want me there?

We’ve received a letter from two little girls, the elf replied. "They’re twins called Aisha and Afifa. They’re eight years old and all they want is to go to
