About this ebook
The Marxist propaganda commonly known as Critical Race Theory, or CRT, is a poison that is infiltrating our schools. Its only purpose is to bully America's children into mental enslavement through segregation and racism. Is it in your school? If you don’t think so, you are likely wrong! No school says "hey we are gong to teach CRT now" or "we are adding a CRT section to our history class." Instead, it creeps in little, by little like any evil. Would you be able to recognize it? Are you able to help your children to recognize it? What do you do if you find it? A Parents’ Guide to Critical Race Theory will help you understand it, identify it and, most importantly STOP IT!

I'm a concerned parent who didn't like what I saw happening in many school districts. Then I found it creeping in to my own kid's school district. The deeper into my research I got, I found it isn't easy for parents to keep an eye on this or figure out how to handle it. Therefore, I became an author.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It is a shame that so many people who think they are educated are actually indoctrinated. Hopefully books like this can help us get back to teaching history and not hate.

Preface
The ideology known as Critical Race Theory
goes by many different names including wokism
or being woke
. Due to its chameleon-like nature, it is hard to put a distinct name on it. However, in its ever-evolving history, it has been widely known as Critical Race Theory
. As outlined in the chapter on The History Of CRT, its pedigree is Critical Theory
viewed through the lens of race, sexual preference, gender, etcetera. Therefore, for the purposes of this book, it will be referred to as Critical Race Theory or simply, CRT.
Throughout its history, CRT has stealthily made its way into American society through our universities, colleges and other institutions of higher learning. However, with the rise to prominence of groups like Black Lives Matter, ANTIFA and other groups supporting the ideology, CRT has made its way into the main stream of society.
The escalation of CRT rhetoric, used by various groups, has become prevalent in the media, movies, television and internet. It is hard to watch or read anything without being presented with someone or some group becoming woke
or imploring others to do so. The wokeness of CRT
has become so prevalent in American society, one might think it is a new spiritual enlightenment that either needs to be embraced or one will get relegated to the recycle bin of history.
It has saturated society so thoroughly, that even our children are being indoctrinated with it in K-12 schools around the country. History, English Language Arts (ELA) and Math classes have come under CRT assault. History classes are being taught principles contained in The New York Times 1619 Project¹. Students in ELA classes are being presented material advocating for profanity laced, anti-police books such as The Hate U Give². Even Math is seeing an infiltration of CRT. Advocates claim concepts such as 2+2=4 reeks of white supremacist patriarchy
³ and ideas such as getting the right answer
, real-world math
, teaching math in a linear fashion
, requiring students to show their work
and grading students based on their demonstrated knowledge of the material are signs of white supremacy culture
⁴. Even pre-K programming on government funded PBS is becoming woke
⁵.
Fighting this kind of indoctrination in my own child’s school is what led me to write this. It is one thing for parents to educate themselves on this racist indoctrination, but they also need to fight against it in their respective schools; many are doing just that around the country. But a problem arises: how do we know it is being taught to our children? Throughout much of 2020 and 2021, the COVID-19 lockdowns caused our students to be taught remotely; either though parent-led lessons provided by the school or through online classes. This has allowed parents to see first-hand what is being taught, maybe for the first time. Many have found that our kids are given lessons and/or being led in activities that we find objectionable. While we may not have had a title for it, we now know it is the ideology of CRT.
Through writing this book, I hope to educate you on what CRT teaches, its origins, its ever-changing terminology and its ultimate goal. Without a firm understanding of CRT, you can’t recognize the signs of it in schools. I hope the confidence you gain through knowledge, will enable you empower your children, grandchildren, etc. to recognize CRTs dangerous teaching and the inappropriate activities schools are using to indoctrinate. This can be done through age-appropriate tools, activities and resources. Unfortunately, CRT is constantly changing, not only its terminology (including definitions of existing words as you know them), but their tactics and methods. Therefore, I will do my best to provide tools that will withstand the constantly shifting current we as parents are fighting.
As a general rule, CRT is the term used for the neo-Marxist idea of using race – i.e., skin color – to divide populations into groups. Other forms of division are known by other titles such as Critical Gender Theory
