    Captain Bling and his merry crew set off to find treasure, but they get blown off course and end up at the North Pole.       A bunch of pirates are upset about not getting Christmas presents so they loot Santa's workshop. However, they learn the error of their ways after Santa talks them down from making him walk the plank, and soon Christmas will never be the same again. This is a sweet enough book to add to a family's holiday rotation. The pirates and Christmas mashup seems peculiar, but it works okay actually. The pirates are easily a substitute for greedy, rowdy folks and this book serves as a reminder that sharing and giving are really the best parts of the holiday.The rhyming text flows smoothly on the whole and the cutesy illustrations are quite lovely to look at, with lots of little fun details to pore over.
