About this ebook
A church where all are welcome.
On Sunday morning, we gather together. We are every color. Every age. Rich and poor. Our church is open, affirming, and accepting. We believe in love instead of hate. There's room for everyone! This book celebrates a spiritual community that embraces all people—no matter their age, race, class, gender identity, or sexual orientation—in love and faith.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I love that Gayle Pitman and Laure Fournier have teamed up again -- This Day in June is one of my favorites. This picture book is similarly full of lovely, intricate, inclusive drawings, but I think the rhymes suffer a bit, and it didn't quite feel as fully realized as the last book. Still, I like any positive message about religion and diversity not necessarily being mutually exclusive.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Two stars for the illustrations, but the phrasing definitely took away from the story!
Describing disabled or sick people as “weak” was a low blow.
I also find it weird that the author used “transgendered” in the author's note, goes to show that even in their own community, people still manage to not use the right terms or be straight up disrespectful.
