Needs of the destitute should be first for religions

OPINION

THIS month – three years after the Covid lockdown, almost two years after the devastating riots and exactly one year after disastrous floods – on this holiest of weekends, I return to the question of whether there is “Faith in the City”. These are two inter-related questions: what examples are there of faith communities being active in our city; and do people still have confidence (faith) in Durban?

There are always lots of religious activities in our city.
