'She clutched her robe tight with both hands. She felt the fire in her cheeks, aghast at what intimate sights the intruders had seen (and wouldn’t you like the owner of that last voice to intrude your wet depths, the thought flashed across her consciousness).
“Please don’t be mad, honey,” came a familiar, whining voice.”
She spotted him, half hidden, by a huge, beefy, and really very dangerously handsome, black man. She felt her knees quiver and a decided roundness in her heels. It had been years, but they fell away and she knew who he was. Even so, she looked daggers at her husband. “What the hell have you done to bring strangers into my house?”
“Honey—“
“Don’t honey me!” She continued to clutch her robe together. She glared at her husband and the two strangers who grinned at the situation.'

One should live one's life according one's own credo. I have always believed this. I have traveled the world and had many adventures as the captain of my own destiny. I have always been the one to have a girl in every port. I have always been the one in command of any situation in which I found myself. I have been a man who has lived life as a man ought. And because of that I give to you the experiences of a lifetime as a man who knows what he wants and gets what he wants. My stories are only slightly altered from the pages of my biography. Raised in a Florida town, I joined the Merchant Marine and traveled the world. I have seen everything worth seeing and done everything worth doing. Now I share the experiences of a life well lived, the life of a man, with you. Enjoy!

You have no one else to blame. Winston looked at the broken man balanced on the stool in front of his desk. Noticing the long ash on his cigarette, he tapped it over the ashtray. So what are we to do now, Lee?

Lee Covington could barely raise his chin enough to see the owner of the book. I’m good for it, Mr. Winston, he whined. You just gotta give me little more time.

Winston’s lip curled in contempt. The man looked about to cry. It’s past time for that, Lee.

Winston picked up the wallet. Opened it. Look here, he said. He pulled out a thick wad of cash. Isn’t this always the way. He stuffed the bills in his pocket. Always they say they’re broke, but they always have cash. He rooted through the wallet. A few odds and ends dropped to the floor. Winston found a couple of credit cards. Probably maxed, but what the hell, the fence’ll give me a couple of bucks for them. Right, RJ?

    Right, boss.

Winston looked down on the cowering Covington and grinned. Almost done. He pulled the last item. Oh my, he said. He dropped the now empty billfold and stared intently at the picture in his hand. Damn. Would you look at that? He handed the photo to his henchman.

RJ peered at it and nodded approving. Hot stuff, he rumbled. He paused, and looked closer and grinned.. Oh yeah. Very hot stuff.

Winston looked down at the gambler. "Now, how in bell did you con a fine piece of ass like
