About this ebook
Jay's been keeping his secret for years—nobody but the people he's been with know he's gay. He's managed to hide his sexuality from his mom for so long, but after an incident at his college, he comes home to find that she knows all about his sexuality—and isn't happy about it.
His mom leaves to stay with her sister for the night in an effort to calm down—though Jay is sure that won't happen easily, given how zealous she's been for the twenty-odd years of his life—and he's hoping to have a quiet night in by himself, but his mother's boyfriend Trent is home with him, and he'll have to tiptoe around him if he wants to keep to himself tonight.
But Trent has other plans for the two of them.

Dedicated to the bag full of condoms I have under my desk and to the people who suffered in order to get me them.
I wrapped a towel around my waist and sighed as I reached out to grab the doorknob to the bathroom. I glanced down at myself, feeling a mixture of disappointment and satisfaction. Mom had found out my secret after all these years—she knew I was gay—and she’d left to go to Aunt Carol’s for the night while she calmed down
.
Yeah, like that’ll ever happen, I thought. I frowned at my reflection in the mirror we had hanging on the back of the door. It could happen, I thought, she could eventually come around. But twenty-two years of hearing her spew anti-gay propaganda nonstop told me not to get my hopes up.
Still, despite the shitshow she’d put on before storming out of the house, I had to admit it was kind of satisfying knowing that I had been the one to do this to her—at least in
