About the author
Where does the word CASISTUL originate from?
The word "CASISTUL" originates from the village where I grew up, Periam, Romania, and it’s an insult. That is what the people and children living in this village called us: casist
, casistule
, casistilor
.
This term was associated with thieves, liars, laziness, irresponsibility, disability, unworthiness, loneliness, ugliness, and people who were unwashed, dirty and so on.
Not a single person who has ever been in an institution, or who is currently in an institution, does not deserve to be called by any insult just because of that.
Because most of us, who grew up in an institution, have proved to be the very opposite.
From this day forward, the word CASISTUL will be associated with Motivation, Vision, Hope, Bravery, Determination, Mission, Respect, Trust, Love, Diligence, Generosity and Responsibility.
Yours,
#CASISTUL
