Jack is the lone survivor of a campsite slaughter of a handful of college students. Left with a concussive brain injury, he can't remember what happened that night. After convalescing, he is released to the care of his parents only to be interrogated by police as soon as he's able to speak again.     Jack watched as the blood spilled across his face. It had happened so fast that Jack just sat there, watching his friends get slaughtered while the fire played across his face. Jack was the nerd of the group and he had seen many many different things in his life that were fantasy, and what was happening before him didn't seem real. He watched as the fingers sliced through the neck of his girlfriend, her face still filled with the shock and horror of what she saw. She had always been more of the cheerleading type and the two of them had met for her tutoring sessions at school. Now, all of Jack's hard work was slowly flying into the air, away from the body that was once attached to it.

    Jack remembered giant soulless eyes looking at him, before continuing to watch his friends being dissected by these big black shadows. They moved so fast that Jack couldn't remember what they looked like. It was over so quick that Jack barely remembered anything coherent.

    Jack bolted up in the sensory tank, hitting his head on the metal surface from above.

    Ow! Jack yelled.

    He could hear the muffled voices from outside as they scrambled to pull him out of the sensory tank.

    Did you remember anything? The doctor asked.

    No, just the same as before, Jack said, as he shook his head.

    Well, we'll just have to keep trying. Jack's mother, Cylia said.

    I don't think sensory deprivation may be the best method for repressed memories. The blood tests also showed some abnormalities. I think hypnotism and a DNA test may produce better results at this point. The doctor recommended.
