    A Hustler's Heaven in Hiding - B. Love

    1

    Laikynn

The story goes… the first time she ever killed a man she had his dick in her mouth. She’d spent her last three hundred dollars on a plane ticket from Memphis to Dallas for this hit. This hit that Tatum swore would change their lives. This hit that would set them up with millions and the ability to never want for anything else in their entire lives.

He’d filled her head to the brim with knowledge on the mark. They scoped out his every move. Every woman he interacted with they followed and studied to make sure Laikynn could put up the perfect façade. And after watching Olly for six months, they made their move. Laikynn made her move.

She said all the right things and did all the right things, and after three dates… Olly was inviting her back to his place. He gave her a grand tour, stopping to place emphasis on his security room and the eight cameras that recorded everyone that went out and in 24/7. What was meant to scare her made her laugh. She knew all about the cameras, and how to disable and erase them.

Olly wasted no time pulling her into his bedroom and shoving her face into his crotch. Everyone knew that was his thing. The smallness of his manhood kept him from ever wanting to enter a woman because he feared her mocking and rejection, but his money and status allowed him to get as much head as he pleased.

Do you have some fruit? An orange or grapefruit? I want to make this special for you, Laikynn said with all the sexy and temptation she could muster up for someone who honestly disgusted her.

Olly looked down at her and smiled.

    Stay right here. Don’t move.

Laikynn nodded and watched as he hopped off the edge of his bed and rushed out of the room. When he was out of her sight, Laikyyn pulled the razor she’d stuffed in the center of the ball on top of her head, removed the plastic covering, and placed the razor in her mouth. Olly practically ran back into his room with a knife and an orange. He opened his mouth to speak, but Laikynn lifted her finger and silenced him.

She stood and removed his clothing. When he was completely nude, Laikynn straddled him and used the knife to cut the top, bottom, and center of the orange out. His eyes closed as soon as she covered his dick with the orange, and after a few strokes she snatched it off and replaced it with her mouth.

Olly cursed and gripped her hair immediately, but she pulled his hand away. With one smooth twist of her tongue, Laikynn moved the razor from the side of her cheek to the top of her tongue. What Olly assumed was her spitting spit on his dick was actually her spitting the razor out of her mouth.

When he didn’t feel the liquid, he opened his eyes in time enough to watch her slice him with the razor. Through his painful yell, Olly reached back to grab the knife and charge after her, but she repositioned the razor in her hand and used it to slice through his cheek. The contact of the blade and his face caused Olly to drop the knife – giving Laikynn the perfect opportunity to grab it and finish him off.

For a few seconds, Laikynn stood over his lifeless body and wondered if any amount of money was worth murder. At that moment she wasn’t sure, but as she walked out of his bedroom she tried to convince herself that one day… it would be.

    2

    Laikynn

Seven years. Tatum and Laikynn had been out of the United States for seven years. After their successful hit on Olly, they drained his bank accounts and moved all of the money from his home before anyone even noticed he was missing. By the time they did, Tatum and Laikynn were living comfortably in Peru. With Peru being the second largest cocaine producer under Colombia, it took them no time to flip the money they’d taken from Olly and flip it a hundred times over.

What was supposed to be a five-year hustle had stretched to seven, and Tatum was beginning to show more and more signs that he was being led by his greed more than he was considering leaving the drug game. They had more money than they knew what to do with, but that didn’t satisfy his hunger. That only made him want more. Laikynn promised him five years of her life, but her love and loyalty towards him kept her for two more.

Now, she wanted to return home to live a normal life. She wanted to be free. She wanted to go to school and start legit businesses. Get married and have babies.

Deciding to take matters into her own hands, Laikynn returned to the United States. She returned to Dallas. And she was focused on finding someone loyal and worthy of the empire she and Tatum had built. When she agreed to off Olly and move to Peru she was young, broke, and reckless… but now… her desires and priorities were different. She wanted more out of life than Tatum, Peru, and cocaine had to offer.

And by the end of the year… she was determined to have it all.

Laikynn reached to grab her luggage from the baggage carousel while trying to reserve her rental car at the same time, and she was so engrossed in what she was doing that she didn’t notice anyone standing in front of her until she walked right into his chest and dropped her phone.

    What the fuck?

Unmoved by the irritation in the voice that came more from the right of her than directly in front of her, Laikynn tried to kneel and grab her phone but was stopped by a hand wrapping around her arm. A hand whose grip had her nipples hardening just from that slight bit of contact.

You have on a dress. Let me get it for you, the man who was the owner of the chest she’d bumped into offered.

She looked into his hazel green eyes and nodded softly. When he stood and handed her her phone back, Laikynn’s eyes returned to his. Although his mouth was straight, his eyes smiled.

    You good? Hazel eyes asked.

Laikynn swallowed, although her mouth was dry, and nodded. She opened her mouth to apologize for not watching where she was going, but the more she looked into his eyes the harder it was to speak. To form thoughts. To move. And apparently breathe because she inhaled a deep breath before coughing hard and loud.

His hand immediately went to her back, but she pushed it away.

What the fuck is wrong with her? the meaner one of the two asked.

Laikynn tossed a scowl his way before clutching her chest that felt as if it was about to cave. As if her ribs were closing around her heart – refusing to allow it to be reached by hazel eyes. And his pink lips. And his strong, manly face. And his light brown skin. And his scruffy beard. And his dreads. And his tattoos. And his everything.

So much for finding love. Her heart had other things in mind. Other things like Tatum. Laikynn tightened the grip she had on her bag and scurried away from the two men. She wanted love… but just… not with someone who had literally snatched her breath away. No… someone like that would have the power to have an even greater hold on her than Tatum. Since she was here for freedom, maybe love would have to wait.

    Pharaoh

I t was like… when she looked into my eyes… she snatched my soul, Pharaoh admitted with shame. It was like… I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. I couldn’t help but smile. She just made me feel so fucking good inside. And to see her standing there speechless because of me… he shrugged and sat back in his seat. I don’t know, man. I haven’t been able to get her out of my mind ever since.

Pharaoh’s love of women had never been a secret. The old heads he grew up under said his love for women came from the fact that he and Caesar never had a relationship with their own mother. As products of the government, they grew up in foster care. Jumping from home to home never feeling the love and nurture that every young man truly needed to be able to fully love, respect, and appreciate the opposite sex.

Now, Pharaoh spent most of his free time trying to squirm his way between a woman’s thighs as if he was trying to reconnect with his own mother’s womb – not that he had to put in much effort to get between a woman’s thighs. Pharaoh was a fucking King in the streets of Dallas. After years of putting in work with his brother, they both gained reputations as men who were to be loved yet feared and respected. It was hard as hell to master that balance.

If they loved you too much they didn’t fear you and take you seriously. If they feared you too much they could never love and appreciate you genuinely, but Pharaoh and Caesar had succeeded in gaining both love and fear as the go to for both Mary Jane and Cocaine in Dallas.

After years of chasing behind money, power, and women, Pharaoh was slowly getting tired of the fast life. He’d had his fair share of STD and pregnancy scares, so at twenty-seven, he was seriously considering settling down like his brother. Not that his brother’s marriage was the most perfect example of how love and marriage should be. But there was no doubt in Pharaoh’s mind that Caesar loved the hell out of Angel, and if there was one thing that he envied about his brother, it was the fact that no matter how mad at him Angel was… she was always there when he came home. And to a man in the streets, having somebody to come home to after a day of making moves that could have easily taken your life or freedom was everything.

So, if she did all that for you, why didn’t you get her name and number, young blood? Silver, one of the older men that had mentored Pharaoh on the drug game, asked.

Pharaoh shrugged as he took a long gulp of his Brandy.

You know how I get down, Sil. I’m trying to get in and out of the pussy with no commitment, and there was nothing about baby that screamed easy and in and out. Everything about her beautiful ass said complicated.

You ain’t tired of easy yet?

Pharaoh rested his arms on the bar in deep thought. Yea, the meaningless nights of sex were getting played out, but that was all he knew. And at this point, the last thing he wanted to do was switch shit up. Trying to find a new connect was enough of a hassle. He didn’t need the added stress of trying to find and get to know a new woman.

But when a woman that sat next to him wore the same perfume as his airport friend he closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. He might not have to find her after all. She might have made her way right by his side.

Pharaoh licked his lips casually as he turned his head to the right. Although he could only see her side profile he knew it was her. He bit down on his lip as he looked her over.

Sil, do you believe in fate?

    Why do you ask?

Baby sitting right here next to me.

    Word?

Silver leaned forward to look around Pharaoh at Laikynn. Laikynn slowly turned to face them, and the frown that Pharaoh had learned was her natural expression changed from surprised to embarrassed. Figuring she was thinking about the fact that she damn near knocked him down the first time they saw each other, Pharaoh offered her a small smile
