My name is Cheryl Hammack I work two full time jobs. I am a very adventurous person. I like to travel, hike, and bicycle. I have hiked and bicycled in 37 states. I also like to go camping. A few years back I bicycled across the state of Missouri from Clinton Mo. to St. Charles Mo. And back over 500 miles round trip. I also hiked on a trail to the summit of Pikes Peak Mountain in Colorado it took 12 hours round trip. I went camping in 37 states from Seattle Washington as far as Bar Harbor Maine. I almost visited all the National parks in the United States. I'm always looking forward to my next adventure.

    Chapter # 1

    This is a story about a young pioneer family starting out for the very first time on their own. It was springtime and the year was March 27,1809. The town they lived in was Kansas city Missouri. This story begins with this young man named Rusty. Rusty was a very hard working young man always devoting his daylight hours and a few of his evening hours in the Blacksmith shop where he worked. He worked in the shop with his best friends Roger and Jeff. One day his friends thought Rusty spent to much time at the shop and needed more out of his life then just working. So his friends introduced Rusty to this young girl named Shari. Rusty was so pleased with this young lady he could only think of her as the best thing that’s ever happened to him. Rusty and Shari dated each other for over two years until the love between them was so abundant they realized that they were meant for each other. It was in the fall time and the year was November 20, 1811 Rusty proposed his engagement to
