Introduction

I believe today more than ever there is a latent necessity in each person to be able to accurately hear the Voice of God. More than half of my life I believed that the only way God would speak to anyone was by the sky opening up and a very loud voice from Heaven would be heard, then we would know it was God. It was not until I was fifteen that I would be introduced to the many and amazing ways God speaks to a person, and better yet, when He speaks to you to tell someone else what He is saying to them.

I was born in South America, and at age fifteen my family experienced a crisis which forced us to migrate to the United States. Before this took place, I remember very clearly receiving the thought, Your life will never be the same; even though I had been raised Catholic, I thought this was just my mind reacting to the situations we were experiencing. Three months later, I was arriving in New Jersey for a completely different part of my life, learning a new language, making new friends, and doing life in a completely different place and culture. It was in the midst of such change that I was introduced to the word prophet. At the time we were invited to two different churches, and in one of them, a lady who was wearing interesting colors and seemed different than everyone else captured my focus. As I was leaving the congregation and passed by her, I approached her to greet her. After all, I was raised to always be polite and greet everyone wherever you go. When I was greeting this lady, I shook her hand and when I tried to leave and find my mom, she would not let go of my hand! I was not trained in charismatic culture nor knew what properly receiving a word was. She spent the next five minutes speaking directly to me (it seemed like an eternity), but the only problem was that I did not understand English back then. She finally let go, I gave her a mean look and ran off to find my mother.

Because I could not verbalize in English my discomfort, I did not tell anyone what had happened, but inside of me I felt something significant had happened. Two weeks later someone told my mom the event her son had kept from her. Next, she was told this lady was a prophetess who had essentially told me my life’s future. At the time I was young, barely saved, and very, very skeptical, I shrugged it off and thought they were just a bunch of crazy people. Fast forward eighteen years later, I am living word for word what was told to me. Not only am I living the message I received from God through Deborah (I found out her name years later), but today I am also in the path of a prophet releasing God’s words into people’s lives and seeing them become what God meant for them to be.

I am writing this book to be a guide for anyone out there that sometimes receives thoughts or dreams or daydreams, and you thought that this was just you or something you ate the night before. Perhaps you don’t think you could ever hear God, I used to think like that. I have good news: God is communicating with you and me! We just have not been paying attention. God wants to continue doing so, not just for your sake but for the people around you, your community, your region, your country, and the whole planet. I pray you will be activated to change people’s lives and history itself.

I saw the name of this book in a vision, and I asked, God, shouldn’t I write ‘Releasing the Voice of God’? He then told me that there is an overflow, an accumulation rather, in the Heavens where His Voice, His thoughts, and His directions have been released for eons, but especially in this age, there are messages in the Heavens where the lack of God’s children accessing such messages has created a disbalance into what God speaks and what actually is released on earth, as today His Voice and divine designs are more needed than ever. And it was then when I understood this verse, The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge (Psalm 19:1). Yes, the Heavens are impregnated with His glory, and they proclaim His creativity, day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. I am writing this book for you to be fully equipped into releasing the Voice of Heaven on this earth. Yes, you can do it, I write as one that knows what being shy is, I was afraid to speak up, speaking in public was my greatest phobia, but His Voice reached me, His Voice renewed me.

One person and many others captured the knowledge that was placed in the Heavens about me, and told me what God thought about me, it radically changed my life. If you are reading this introduction and already believe this is not for you, you have found exactly what qualifies you, and as you read these pages, I encourage you to believe and trust in God and yourself. The more God speaks to you and the more you see Him moving in you and through you, the more confidence He will build in you!

You and I have an imperative command to grab hold of the commands and messages God is constantly releasing into the Heavens, and He awaits His children to grab hold of them and release them to earth.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves

Ephesians 1:3–6

We are His people, and we need to rise up as such, and we need to teach the next generation to do the same, only then we will be able to see the Lord’s prayer truly come into place, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

This book is the compilation of three manuals that would take you from the very beginning of listening to Him and being able to release His messages to people, all the way to an exploration and study of the Office of the Prophet in the 21st century. You may not be a prophet but you are called to be a child of God first and foremost, and that alone qualifies you to train and receive the blessings hidden in these pages that have been written to fully empower you into receiving God’s messages and into properly and accurately releasing them to earth. May it be a blessing to you and to your generations. Let us embark on the journey called Releasing the Voice of Heaven.

Chapter 1

Our Call to Prophecy

Let’s define what prophecy is:

Prophecy is a God-given supernatural gift that enables the human being to give a message from God to a situation, individual, group of people, a region, a country, or countries, etc.

When we activate prophecy in our lives and prophesy to others, we are sharing the message God gives us with other people, and there is no telling the impact that message will have on that person; remember eighteen years ago, a prophetess called Deborah gave me a prophecy that has unfolded throughout more than half my life. God can do the same to you and through you.

A prophet is a messenger of God, and they have been around for thousands of years. After the Lord Jesus died on the cross and the eternal gift of salvation was given to humanity, the Bible says, "For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’ The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children" (Romans 8:14–16).
