    The Power Beyond - Dawn H Edwards-Kellum

    Introduction

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. - 2 Corinthians 4:7

God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God. - Psalm 62:11

My name is Dawn Kellum, author of The Power Beyond: The Overcomers, the sequel to The Power Within: My Experience with the Holy Spirit.

I believe that I was inspired by the Holy Spirit of my Heavenly Father to write The Power Within: My Experience with the Holy Spirit where I recorded many of my experiences with the Holy Spirit’s guidance, teaching, comfort, ability to reveal and so much more. You also would have read about my personal testimonials on how God made ways for me and my family; stories of deliverance, prophetic visions I received that manifested; more detailed encounters in God’s presence; seeing a grown child I aborted from my womb; my personal reports of miraculous healings and recorded amazing divine interventions. I shared stories about how God’s Holy Spirit leads us how to love and forgive, pray to break chains in the spiritual realm, Holy-Spirit led words of inspiration and spiritual insight, overcoming the paranormal through the power of Jesus and so much more.

The last chapter of The Power Within: My Experience with the Holy Spirit is the Bridegroom Cometh which provides a series of prophetic end time instructions for the Christian believer to prepare for the Rapture or Catching Away of the Saints of God to live with Jesus Christ forever. They are the Overcomers! What awaits the Overcomers beyond this earth? What if they pass away prior to the Rapture or Catching Away of the Saints of God? Where do they go? What can they do? What happens if they are raptured? What type of power awaits them in the beyond? How do you become an Overcomer? What is the earthly role of the Overcomer? Where do they exist on earth? How do they operate? What is the Overcomers’ eternal position in their beyond? What is their role in their beyond? Can the Overcomers in the beyond see the Overcomers on Earth? How do Overcomers get to their beyond and when do they arrive? How much power do Overcomers really have?

The Power Beyond: The Overcomers, the sequel to The Power Within: My Experience with the Holy Spirit answers the aforementioned questions and so much more! This powerful sequel journey also includes biblical verses categorically arranged, Holy Spirit-led biblical interpretation, prophetic visions and visits to Heaven.

Thank you again for taking this journey with me. I pray and hope you are inspired.

    Overcomer - Defined

Merriam-Webster defines an Overcomer as a person who overcomes somethingone who succeeds in dealing with or gaining control of some problem or difficulty. The plural of Overcomer is Overcomers.

There are many things that people overcome in life. Let us consider, for example, what we need to overcome in order to be successful in business. One would need to overcome a minimum of the following:

    -The fear of failure

-The lack of persistence (easily giving up)

    -Settling for less

    -The lack of specific goals

    -Procrastination

-Associating in unfruitful or negative surroundings

    -Lack of motivation

Those are recommendations from successful business owners.

Now, in my book, The Power Within: My Experience with the Holy Spirit, I shared my full testimony of how I was diagnosed with heart failure in 2005. In order to make a long story short, God healed me and I have since completed three (3) half-Marathons! A single half-marathon is 13.1 miles! In order to initially sign up for and successfully complete each race, I had to overcome at least the following giants:

    -The fear of failure

    -Doubt

    -Race-based mental exhaustion

    -Pain

-The fear of dying or passing out mid-race

My fellow long-distance runners can surely understand because they have successfully completed long-distance races and know how to overcome the necessary giants.

Finally and more importantly, let us consider what is needed to overcome the biggest giant known to mankind – SIN! Sin is transgression of God’s laws and commandments. Sin carries the penalty of eternal death or eternally dying. Since our great-grandfather Adam sinned, all of his offspring is born into sin and headed to eternal death aka Hell’s Torment and the Lake of Fire. We are all sinners. All human beings are sinners. It doesn’t matter how good of a person you are, you are still a sinner. What do you need to do to be saved? How can you overcome SIN or the breaking of God’s laws? How can you overcome the world we live in, i.e., the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, the pride of life?

You have hope today, my friend. Consider the following expert who has already overcome the world:

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (Ref. St. John 16:33)

    2

    Become an Overcomer

Receive the Deliverer – the one who has already overcome the world

Receive the Deliverer by faith. Mark 1:15; John 3:16; Mark 16:15-16; Heb 11:1,6. Remember it’s God that grants repentance which is necessary for deliverance. Acts 11:18. You, as a sinner, are in a bad condition and God has the remedy. Rom. 3:23; Psalms 51; John 3:16 Recognize that Jesus Christ, the son of God, is the deliverer. All spirits – whether on earth and/or in Heaven must bow down to Jesus Christ, the son of God. Jesus has given us everything we need to be delivered. Sin separates us from a good relationship with God. The penalty of sin is eternal damnation.

In order to have a good relationship with God, Jesus Christ, the son of God and also the deliverer, gave his life in our (all human beings) stead on the cross of Calvary over 2000 years ago so every human being can be saved from eternal damnation if we receive Him as our Lord and Savior. Romans 3:23 states For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God so all human beings need to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior in order to be saved from eternal torment/damnation and get power to live free from sinning or transgressing God’s laws and commandments. I John1:9 states, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Pray the following prayer out loud:

Father, in the name of thy son Jesus Christ, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry and now I want to repent and turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me of all of my sins and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son Jesus Christ died for my sins and was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus Christ to become the Lord of my life and to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost to help me stop sinning and to obey You and to do Your will for the rest of my life In Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen.

-BAPTISM THROUGH WATER IN THE NAME OF JESUS. Be baptized (in water) for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:37-41; 1Peter 3:21; John 3:3-5; Acts 22:16; Romans 6:3-8; Colossians 2:12; Galatians 3:26-27; Mark 16:15-16; Acts 8:34-39; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 4:5; Matthew 28:18-20)

-BAPTISM BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. Remain faithful to Jesus Christ for the rest of our lives (Revelation 2:10; Matthew 24:13; Luke  In order to REMAIN faithful and live overcoming lives, we strive to develop and form CHRIST WITHIN US by receiving the Holy Spirit aka Holy Ghost. Acts 2:1-39 Romans 8:9 – But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

    3

    As a Child

    Mark 10:15  & Luke 18:17

Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.

    Matthew 18:3

..and said, Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

    Matthew 18:4
