Nonnaaaaaaaa, your love seat is here! Justin hollered as he walked through the door to his childhood home. Not because his grandmother was deaf - her hearing was as sharp as ever - but because he never knew who might be there when he arrived. With five older brothers, there was a strong likelihood that at least one of them was roaming around, usually with several small rowdy children in tow.

Plus, her door was unlocked again. He should have a word to his grandma about that. It wasn’t safe, even in a little town like Kissing Point where everyone knew everything about everybody. Or at least they thought they did. He had a mate whose girlfriend had disappeared back in high school. Poof, like dark magic. Not that he’d ever convince his grandma there was evil in the world, she was determined to believe the best of everyone.

Thank you, honey, she hollered back, her voice getting louder as she advanced up the hall toward him. Just put it down in the parlour. The front room. No, not that one, the one on the left.
