The Kingdom Coalition Manifesto Expanded Edition - Dr. Peter Wyns
Chapter One
The Kingdom Coalition Manifesto
Getting Involved
This book is designed to help the Church walk in unity and to be engaged in the social well-being of society. It is a call for godly purpose so we might be a bright shining light in the world. It is an Expanded Version because it is now applicable for the nations and not just America. Also, further clarification is added to some points in the book.
The last chapter of this book is new and is part of the Expanded Version. It highlights suggested steps for godly reformation in the America and the nations.
It is called The Kingdom Coalition Manifesto.
These three words; kingdom, coalition and manifesto are corporate governmental words and we will refer to them throughout the book. They speak of authority, solidarity and our unified declaration of God’s kingdom to the world.
A Public Declaration
A manifesto is; a public declaration of intentions, opinions, objectives, or motives, as one issued by a government, sovereign, or organization.
- Dictionary.com, Google Search
With a broad but brief approach, this document lays out a Kingdom of God Manifesto for all believers. It sets forth a position and a strategy that lines up with the Bible in order to help God’s people work together with faith, love and unity.
We recognize that the Church functions differently in different nations due to the form of civil government in that country. While the dynamics of the Christ-like character and love for people are exactly the same, our Christian experience in the public square is different. With those subtleties in mind, we unite in Spirit and declare the unity of God’s people; that there is only one Church in the world. We are one Church coming from many different nations.
At the end of each chapter a section of the manifesto is presented. At the end of the document, all of the pieces are joined together as one manifesto.
It is called A Kingdom Coalition Manifesto because only the principles of God’s kingdom can help us with the current focus of strife in the world and in our nations. Since Christians of every color and race endeavor to walk in the ways of God, we encourage humility and faith as we embrace one another. We call all believers to stand together in solidarity. We call it a coalition because, whether we recognize it or not, all true Christians are part of God’s family. We are already a coalition even if we are a dysfunctional one.
A Biblical Constitution
This manifesto is a Biblical constitution to help God’s people initiate justice, care for the needy, and interact righteously within our communities at large. It is designed to show us the essential dynamics of the love and power of God and is a reflection of Biblical truth. It will help make us aware of our responsibilities to God, to those within His family, and to the world around us. It is for the people of God, who, at this time, are facing the last-days that will usher in the return of the Lord Jesus and His millennial kingdom. We must prepare ourselves, and more importantly, we must prepare the way of the Lord. If we do that, He will do the rest.
By God’s grace, we humbly lift these kingdom precepts high, and endeavor to live and walk in these truths for the betterment of the Church, society, and the world.
Four Sections
The declaration is presented in four main sections:
1. Challenges Facing God’s People
2. He Made the Nations
3. The Biblical Mandate
4. Kingdom Solidarity
Those who agree with this manuscript are encouraged to stand alongside one another and demonstrate the undivided unity and love in the community of the redeemed. We, the people of God, are called to live in sharp contrast to the ways of the world. We are to be a counter culture, set in place by Almighty God to shine brightly in the midst of a dark generation.
So that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.
Phil. 2:15
This manuscript will serve as a guide for believers, and will be a testament to the world of what the Church is and how its members function. It sets forth directives for the Church, civil government and the family, so that the peace and gospel of God’s kingdom may abound in every nation and every place.
On a personal level, it gives Biblical guidelines for service, and encourages us to walk with God and bless one another. This charity must prevail within universal and
