Preface

This book was authored by many beings of higher intelligence of morontial (semimaterial) and spiritual composite who have been sent by the Universe Father and who use the Audio Fusion Material Complement and interplanetary communicator, Gabriel of Urantia/TaliasVan of Tora, as a vessel to speak through. There are also material complements on other lower levels who function in other ways of reflectivity who will eventually be mandated by Celestial Overcontrol. Gabriel/TaliasVan is the only audio fusion material complement on the planet and is stabilized on the first psychic circle. Niánn Emerson Chase is also stabilized on the first psychic circle and is the highest material complement to a Brilliant Evening Star.

The Divine New Order and The Dawn of the First Stage of Light and Life is the autobiography of Gabriel of Urantia/TaliasVan of Tora and describes how he became an audio fusion material complement with the Mandate of the Bright and Morning Star. The Cosmic Family, Volume 1 is the way in which Destiny Reservists, some of whom are the first-century apostles and disciples of Jesus, are called to the First Planetary Sacred Home by invisible but ever-present planetary supervisors of the Divine Administration of the present Planetary Prince. The Cosmic Family, Volume 1 is also the beginning teachings of ascension science relating the micro/macro world to circumstantial reality in your everyday life, which brilliantly explains disease, death, and the present world conditions that are intensified because of the adjudication of the Bright and Morning Star versus Lucifer that began in 1911 and was upstepped in 1989.

The understanding of mandates and their functions have been a continuing growth process. Editing of the first publications continues to the present edition as we try to clarify the meaning of these divine administrative functions and the effect on all of our higher growth within the spiritual mind. The Audio Fusion Material Complement, Gabriel of Urantia/TaliasVan of Tora, was pre-level-one when he started with these transmissions. In March 2021 he became a Level-Thirteen Audio Fusion Material Complement.

Foreword

The Cosmic Family volumes¹ are unlike any writings you have ever encountered. They are the Continuing Fifth Epochal Revelation to this planet and contain the succeeding papers of revelatory information begun in The URANTIA Book² (the Fifth Epochal Revelation), which was first published in 1955. To truly comprehend the information presented, it is best understood when studied sequentially or simultaneously—beginning with The URANTIA Book, then The Cosmic Family volumes—to build a foundation of information based precept upon precept, concept upon concept. All Continuing Fifth Epochal Revelation terms are set off in bold or a stylized font (depending on eBook digital reader device) the first time they are used within each paper (except in the titles and sign-offs of the papers), to enable the reader to more easily identify these new concepts. They are also defined in the Glossary in the back of the book.

Since The Cosmic Family volumes are the continuation of the first 196 papers found in The URANTIA Book, we have retained capitalization styles similar to The URANTIA Book’s style for orders of beings and certain other Fifth Epochal Revelation terms. Throughout The Cosmic Family volumes the editing team has retained Celestial Overcontrol’s wording of the transmissions. Celestial Overcontrol’s very unique language style and presentation technique often create a braid of information that weaves throughout a transmission. We have learned that any given sentence may have multiple meanings on multiple levels. We would like to note that it was the human editors and not Celestial Overcontrol who determined punctuation, paragraphing, capitalization, and other stylistic formats.

Throughout this book, statements regarding personalities transcending from mortal life without experiencing death are statements that have to do with the reality of a higher planetary mass-consciousness understanding and practicing the concepts of Divine Administration—which as of the publishing of this volume (2021) has not yet happened. There is only one planetary Divine Administration sector at this time.

To truly benefit the most from this volume, we suggest you first (or simultaneously) read and study The Divine New Order and The Dawn of the First Stage of Light and Life (the autobiography of Gabriel of Urantia/TaliasVan of Tora).

Continuing Fifth Epochal Revelation Terminology

Continuing Fifth Epochal Revelation, transmitted through the Audio Fusion Material Complement Gabriel of Urantia/TaliasVan of Tora, is the continuation of the Fifth Epochal Revelation (The URANTIA Book). Beginning in 1989, Gabriel/TaliasVan has received and transmitted hundreds of technical transmissions (Papers in The Cosmic Family volumes), plus hundreds of community (group) transmissions, and close to a thousand personal transmissions—all of which provide continuing revelation to the planet. Although close to 200 papers for The Cosmic Family volumes have been transmitted to date, The Cosmic Family, Volumes 1 and 2 have been published and Volumes 3 through 6 are in progress for publication.

Continuing Fifth Epochal Revelation introduces many new concepts, referred to in Divine Administration as Aquarian concepts. The physics of rebellion is a fundamental concept addressed in Continuing Fifth Epochal Revelation. As was indicated in the Foreword, all Continuing Fifth Epochal Revelation terms are set off in bold the first time they are used within each paper (except in the titles and sign-offs of the papers), to enable the reader to more easily identify these new concepts.

 Below are some frequently used significant terms found in The Cosmic Family, Volume 1. A glossary defining many more terms is located in the back of this text.

audio fusion material complement¹

An audio fusion material complement is a unique mortal vessel among interdimensional and interplanetary receivers. The process involves a fusion between a celestial being and a mortal, a fusion of one entity with another in the complete subatomic-to-cellular reality of the lower being. The fusion takes place within the particle reality of the life force of the existing soul. They co-exist within the life force, and the existing soul does not leave. It is a gradual process over many years, and the higher the virtue of the chosen mortal vessel, then the higher the fusion, the higher the celestial being, and the higher the level of revelation that can be brought through.

Since Gabriel of Urantia/TaliasVan of Tora became an audio fusion material complement in 1989, he has gradually reached higher and higher levels in this fusion process. It was announced at a community transmission on April 11, 2007 that in March 2007, coinciding with Gabriel of Sedona becoming Gabriel of Urantia, he became a Level Eight Audio Fusion Material Complement. In March 2021 he became Level-Thirteen. He is the only audio fusion material complement on Urantia (Earth). The Bright and Morning Star fuses with Gabriel/TaliasVan periodically to teach for a few hours. Paladin, Chief of Finaliters, often fuses with Gabriel/TaliasVan several times per day.

Celestial Overcontrol

Celestial Overcontrol on Urantia (Earth) is the term designating orders of beings who function on higher levels of universe administration, guiding and overseeing the human mandated personalities on a planetary level of functioning in cooperation with the Planetary Prince, Machiventa Melchizedek (who is in spirit form). These beings typically reside in the fourth and fifth dimensions (and above) here on Urantia, and include—but are by no means limited to—the Bright and Morning Star (Gabriel of Salvington) and the Chief of Finaliters on Urantia (Paladin). Throughout this book the terms Celestial Overcontrol and Overcontrol have been used interchangeably when referring to this administrative body of celestial beings.

change point

The term change point used throughout The Cosmic Family volumes can have multiple meanings. The reader should understand that there is not just one particular moment, day, or year that is the change point, but rather the change point unfolds over time, with many smaller change points (both personal and collective) contributing to the ultimate shift of the planet into the first stage of light and life. For further clarification see the June 24, 2001 Global Change Teaching by Niánn Emerson Chase titled The Change Point: The Continuing Saga, available from Global Community Communications Publishing.

On August 2, 2005 Paladin gave this explanation of change point: "It should be understood at this time that there are obviously several change points—a series of change points that work up to a final change point. For instance, 1989 was a change point with minor change points working up to that date, and May 5, 2001 was another change point. These are two major change points, and there have been minor change points between these two major ones. This will continue until the final change point. That could be the return of Christ Michael to Urantia, the coming of a Trinity Teacher Son, or the materialization of Machiventa Melchizedek. What this means is a complete taking over by the light forces over the dark forces. After all, a rebellion on any world must end eventually, and so the final change point on this world is approaching. So, the many meanings of the change point that are mentioned in The Cosmic Family volumes need to be understood in that context."

Christ Michael

Also known as Michael of Nebadon and Jesus Christ Michael. He is the Creator Son of our local universe of Nebadon, who bestowed as Jesus of Nazareth approximately two thousand years ago. He is a Paradise-origin personality of the order of the Michael Sons and one of 700,000 Creator Sons.

cosmic family

A cosmic family is astrally related through cosmic genetics. At present there are seven cosmic families on Urantia (Earth) from four different universes. Each cosmic family is headed by a different finaliter. The highest destiny of each member of these cosmic families is to align with Divine Administration.

In a broader sense, the concept of cosmic family also presents the fact that we are all related as one spiritual family under God, the Universal Father, and this family extends throughout the cosmos, beginning in Paradise and reaching down to the lowest evolutionary worlds. Cosmic family includes all seen and unseen beings—celestial, mortal, and many unrevealed types of beings.

Deo

Deo is a term that refers to something that is within God’s divine pattern.

dio

Dio is a term that refers to something that is outside of God’s divine pattern.

First Planetary Sacred Home

Celestial Overcontrol has consistently clarified that the First Planetary Sacred Home is the spiritual planetary headquarters of Urantia (Earth). Planetary Headquarters is the centralized location where epochal revelation is received, implemented, and disseminated, and it is the administrative center of celestial and human divine administration on Urantia. The two terms First Planetary Sacred Home and Planetary Headquarters can be used interchangeably.

Throughout the history of Urantia there have been five different planetary headquarters: the first Planetary Headquarters was Dalamatia at the time of Caligastia, 500,000 years ago; the second was the Garden of Eden at the time of Adam and Eve, 38,000 years ago; the third was the schools of Salem at the time of Machiventa Melchizedek, approximately 4,000 years ago; the fourth was wherever Jesus of Nazareth was, 2,000 years ago. (For further information about these four epochal revelations see The URANTIA Book, Papers 66, 74, 93, and Part IV)

Presently, Planetary Headquarters is located in Tubac/Tumacácori, Arizona, USA, where the Planetary Prince, Machiventa Melchizedek, resides in a higher dimension in spirit form; where the archangels’ headquarters is situated; where all loyal angelic and non-angelic orders as well as revealed and unrevealed midwayers assemble for the performance of planetary, interplanetary, universal, interuniversal, and interdimensional administration; and where mortals aligned under the Mandate of the Bright and Morning Star are cooperating to implement Machiventa Melchizedek’s Divine Administration on this planet. These combined unique aspects of Planetary Headquarters are what draw people spiritually there and make the area and its energy feel so special and sacred.

Gabriel of Salvington

Gabriel of Salvington, also known as the Bright and Morning Star, is the firstborn son of Christ Michael and the Universe Mother Spirit. He serves as the chief administrator of this local universe, Nebadon. Since 1989 Gabriel of Salvington has fused with Gabriel of Urantia/TaliasVan of Tora through the audio fusion material complement process on an ongoing basis to bring continuing revelation, as part of the adjudication of the Bright and Morning Star versus Lucifer. Lucifer Rebellion

The Lucifer Rebellion is a rebellion initiated 200,000 years ago by Lucifer, who was then the sovereign of the system of Satania. Thirty-seven of the then 607 inhabited worlds in the system of Satania participated. (Currently there are 619 inhabited worlds, with others soon to be thus designated.) The Rebellion involved many personalities of various celestial orders as well as mortals. On Urantia (Earth) the adjudication of the Bright and Morning Star versus Lucifer is bringing an end to this Rebellion.

The Fifth Epochal Revelation and Continuing Fifth Epochal Revelation play a major part in re-opening the universe circuits. The adjudication on Urantia is now in progress under the Mandate of the Bright and Morning Star in and through the Divine Administration of Machiventa Melchizedek and his staff, both celestial and mortal. Machiventa Melchizedek

Machiventa Melchizedek has been Planetary Prince of Urantia (Earth) since December 1989. He exists in a higher dimension in spirit form on the planet, residing at Planetary Sacred Headquarters. This same Melchizedek, who belongs to the highest order of local universe Sons, incarnated in the likeness of mortal flesh and lived on Urantia for ninety-four years during the time of Abraham and was known as the Prince of Salem. At that time Machiventa Melchizedek came on an emergency mission when the spiritual light on Urantia was almost extinguished, and he taught the one-God concept. One-mile, Three-mile, and Five-mile Radii

In August 2000 a change in nomenclature for certain geographic areas was given by Celestial Overcontrol, as the use of the word radius in these instances refers to an area of influence. At that time the then one-mile radius became the First Radius, the three-mile radius became the Second Radius, and the five-mile radius became the Third Radius. The change was based on the anticipation of the continued growth of auhter energy. For example, the First Radius could grow to be a one-hundred-mile radius rather than the initial one-mile. These radii are not necessarily perfectly circular but rather are more amoeba-like in shape, with valleys and peaks reaching out in various directions simultaneously.

ovan souls

Ovan souls are mortals who have had at least one previous life. On Urantia, both second-time Urantians and starseed are ovan souls.

Paladin

Paladin is a finaliter—an evolutionary mortal who ascended from his planet of origin to Paradise. Paladin became Chief of Finaliters on Urantia (Earth) in January 1992. He is the head of the First Cosmic Family and the cosmic father of Gabriel of Urantia/TaliasVan of Tora. Paladin—who fuses with and speaks through the Audio Fusion Material Complement Gabriel/TaliasVan—is the chief spokesperson for celestial personalities bringing Continuing Fifth Epochal Revelation to the planet. repersonalization

The transfer of ascending ovan souls back into third-dimensional reality through the birthing technique for specific destiny purposes. Some members of the Cosmic Reserve Corps of Destiny have repersonalized on this planet in most of the major spiritual renaissances. Gabriel of Urantia/TaliasVan of Tora describes this in his autobiography The Divine New Order and The Dawn of the First Stage of Light and Life. With the exception of second-time Urantians, who for undisclosed reasons have for the first time been allowed to repersonalize, these souls come originally from other universes where the ascension schemes are different from that of Nebadon. In Nebadon souls do not as a rule return to their planet of origin. Repersonalization is not to be confused with the erroneous earthly concepts of reincarnation.

The purposeful sending by Celestial Overcontrol of an existent soul from another universe to an inhabited world in a neighboring universe is for assignment, rehabilitation purposes, or both. The soul can appear in his or her full astral experience in the womb of a mother at any time in the pregnancy. All natural physiological and maturation processes apply after the birthing process. But to those who are aware of repersonalizing souls, it should be evident that an older soul exists in the young body of the child.

Second-time Urantians

Second-time Urantians are ovan souls who have had one previous mortal life, and this life was on Urantia (Earth). Some second-time Urantians have spent time on the mansion worlds before returning to Urantia for a second human mortal life. Since the transmissions in this volume of The Cosmic Family came through in the early 1990s, new information is being given now that there are more second-time Urantians than the original 2,000 spoken of. As of June 1998, another 1,500 have been assigned to Urantia and this number will be increasing. It was stated at that time that by the year 2005 there could possibly be 10,000 second-time Urantians.

starseed

Starseed are evolutionary mortal ascending sons and daughters whose soul origin is on another planet, usually in another universe. Starseed children are born of human parents through the repersonalization technique. There are seven orders of starseed on Urantia (Earth). Many starseed are presently repersonalizing on this planet as part of the adjudication of the Bright and Morning Star versus Lucifer. It has been stated, What can be said that has not been said before? Statement of Purpose

of The Cosmic Family, Volume 1

The purpose of this book is to introduce new cosmic concepts in words that will be part of one planetary language in the understanding of spiritual reality in which our planet, Urantia (Earth), will be operating when the final change point and shift from third dimension to fourth dimension and above occurs, and a new divine government of Christ Michael (Jesus) is appropriated either by His physical return or the physical materialization of the present Planetary Prince, Machiventa Melchizedek, and his staff, presently on the planet. It is not a government of arms or military power. We do not teach rule by force of arms, nor do we stock weapons of any kind. We teach only the Fatherhood of God and the brother-/sisterhood of humankind; we teach love.

We believe that cataclysms will precede either event. Perhaps an auhter energy shift will also occur if these two events do not transpire in May of a.d. 2000 or 2001. A lower term for this consciousness shift or change point is quantum leap.

We will attempt to define each concept as it is introduced. Some will be clarified within the text, as well as in the glossary. This volume is the first one in a series to challenge the minds of those who have accepted a nonreality that cannot bring them into true happiness, peace, and harmony on this planet.

Thoughts On The Father Circuits And Authority

When I first met him, I was a little overwhelmed by Paladin’s maleness and his sense of command and authority. As a female who has lived several lives on this war-torn and strife-ridden planet, I have encountered that male imbalance in men that Paladin mentions in the Foreword of this book. I have carried much anger throughout my lives and into this life over the injustice and violence that stems from imbalanced male-dominated cultures.

I have lost children in several lifetimes, including this present one, because of men’s choices to follow their violent, vengeful natures. Some of my children died at the knife of so-called male warrior enemies of the men of my tribe; some have been taken from me by males who wanted to punish me because I would not bow to their wishes. But whether these children died physically or were just removed from my presence, each time I lost a child I died a small death inside. I carry the grief and anger of all mothers who have lost children in some way to ungodly male dominance, and so I have had to get through those emotions and thoughts in relating to Paladin and his messages.

As Paladin began to spend more time with Gabriel and me, I grew to love and appreciate him, for I realized his great wisdom and love, his sense of humor, his unending patience with our bumbling ways, his straightforward words that brought clarity rather than confusion to my mind. As I contemplated his messages and began to experience the truth of his teachings, my fluctuations between doubt and faith lessened as to who Paladin really was, and eventually I did not doubt that he was a finaliter and sent from the Eternal Father, Son, and Mother in Paradise. With that realization came the difficult process of letting go of certain ideas I had about how to deal with some of the world’s problems, including women’s issues.

The Trinity God Concept

I had been viewing the world’s and my own problems through a third-dimensional perspective, but as I interacted with the various celestial guides and teachers and studied The URANTIA Book, my consciousness began to expand into another dimension—the fourth dimension of cosmic awareness of who God really is (as much as our mortal minds and hearts can comprehend and experience at this time in our lives) and who some of His or Her ministering spirits are. God is a real personality, in fact three separate personalities but at the same time fused as one.

Paradise is existent and is actually a place, the center of the master universe around which all superuniverses and universes revolve. All is pulled inward toward it, including each soul.
