There is nothing more disheartening than seeing injustice in the workplace, especially when sexual harassment is involved. It is something which has happened time and time again throughout the years, but it never gets easier to hear the detailed wrongdoings of those who take advantage of others and harass them until they feel completely at a loss of what to do. This feeling of helplessness only gets worse when those in charge fail to help their workers complaining of this harassment. We explore all of this and so much more in Harass Dating by author Anthony Goluszek.

Throughout this book, there are many documents detailing the harassment that Anthony Goluszek experienced at the hands of his co-workers during the late-70s to mid-80s. He worked as an electrician at H.P. Smith in Chicago and according to the court documents, felt as though he was targeted and harassed, and subsequently discharged from his position, due to both the harassment he complained of to his higher-ups as well as the fact he is Polish. Clearly, neither are valid reasons to discharge somebody and it is shameful to hear about the harassment he endured during these years of employment at H.P. Smith. To make matters worse, it seems as though his voice was never truly heard when he needed assistance most, resulting in years of court cases that ultimately didn’t serve him the justice he so greatly deserved.

While I can honestly say it was troubling to read of his mistreatment while employed with H.P. Smith, I think it is commendable that the author was willing to put all of this information out there for the public so they can see what he dealt with and how it is despicable that he was not given proper justice in the end. It’s an intriguing read that will surely leave you shocked and appalled at the actions of both his fellow workers as well as the way the courts handled his case.

It is unfortunate that anyone should have to go through what this author did and it is easy to see why it was an experience he hasn’t forgotten all these years later. Even so, it is important that people speak up when this happens and when they feel as though they haven’t been heard, it matters that they have another outlet to make their voice heard about the injustices they had to go through.

Make sure to pick up your copy of Harass Dating by Anthony Goluszek so you too can see sexual harassment from the male perspective. There is no doubting its importance in the modern workplace.
