Have you ever taken the time to look around today at the Body of Christ? We are so divided in the prophetic ministry that it appears that our best efforts only seemingly unite pockets of us here and there. We, the prophets, don’t trust each other, never build the relationships needed to prosper in the prophetic gift and never seem to understand the benefit of prophetic transfer.

There is much to discuss on this point. Hurt, anger, and self-esteem are the front runners of the walls between us. We also have a more unspoken division that we can’t see, but we know it is there. Welcome to the moments of life we are called to as prophets of God. Please realize now this is bigger than your local circles of influence but important to you and them nevertheless.

Today it seems many prophets seek to form relationships based on the norms of today’s society. We are living in the moment, an unfulfilled moment, that has us yearning for the supernatural and never see it consistently, and when we do, it’s only a moment, now and then.

Yes, my prophetic friend…, can I call you friend? Notice that we are living in the moment, one right after the other. We must take our responsibility to understand the moments. Do our actions and works as prophets bring Glory or disgrace to the Kingdom of God? This is a fair question each of us should ask ourselves.

While we deal with the world of today, try to find ourselves, and look to who we feel is the latest media prophetic superstar. There is a need to realize that all platforms of our society will not change unless we, the prophets bring God’s Glory to those places for God. What I’m describing is a lost gift among us at this moment. Yet it is ageless and essential to our continued development as prophets. Welcome to the moment in time, many of us need to realize, embrace and cherish, even with all our shortcomings. This is an excellent opportunity to grow a prophet.

My task in the following chapters is to outline moments we all will deal with. These topics are essential to us surviving and thriving as prophets of God. Our sensitivity to the issues of life and the areas we so often overlook makes us so non effective. My goal with this book is to challenge you to understand, claim, and excel at the moment you find yourself in. This is for you, the prophet, and the person you are. My prayer is that they become one and the same.

Everything we deal with is a process. Claim this as a real prophet. Just when you felt you had learned everything you needed to know about being a prophet- there is even more to learn. We all are a part of some prophetic subculture. Our culture binds us and in some cases our counterculture.

These have a direct bearing on our individual and group norms and especially our prophetic standards. As we look at ourselves, at the moment we find ourselves in. We all strive to find a reference point. Sometimes it’s in a positive sense of identity. Sometimes it is not. Ask yourself, Can I identify it? Can I develop from it?

This book is going to offer subjects that you will find critical in your prophetic development. Study yourself as you read this book and be honest with yourself. The subject matter of this book is real and authentic. I speak to you in this work, as a prophet and a future prophetic friend.

I submit to you, A Prophet in the Moment. You and I had better be ready and available to deal with it. The moment is here for us, and the beautiful saga here is that we, the prophets of God, have a chance to make a difference. Prophet, you and I are in the moment, as we seek our greatest lives in God. You and I are A Prophet in the Moment.

Have you ever smiled at someone and felt a particular type of way about them? Today in the
