My favorite poets are Langston Hughes and Helen Stiener Rice. I consider my style a unique hybrid of the two. She looked for the beauty in nature and life. He searched for the truth in people and circumstances. They both encouraged their readers that life is worth living.

I am a sixty-year-old male, Black, Baptist, born-again Christian born with cerebral palsy and living in Spanish Harlem. I was born in Brooklyn and raised in the Jamaica section of Queens, New York. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at eight years old. I was water immersed in 2002.
