Author

Jerry Love

The author, Dr. Jerry Love, after receiving post graduate engineering degrees, was employed as a Civil Engineer, managing, designing, and constructing large transportation projects that included assignments in five continents. He served on active military duty with the U.S. Navy in World War II aboard amphibious ships in the Asia-Pacific and in the Korean War with the Navy Seabees, retiring with the rank of Captain, Civil Engineer Corps, USNR. Many of the locations where the novel's principal character, Sam Adams' romantic escapades took place, were familiar to the author as a result of his own real life adventures experienced when he was attending college, on active military duty, and while working on actual engineering projects. The description of some of Sam's graduate studies and his engineering projects reflect a high degree of authenticity based on the author's own experience as a Civil Engineer.
