    From the Publisher

An early version of this book, with the title, "Mommy, What’s ‘Died’?" – The Butterfly Story was published in 2005 by YouthLight, Inc. in two versions for use in public schools. The extended version is a leader’s guide for teachers and guidance counselors, and the storybook version is for parents and caregivers of young children. These versions of this book, with the original title, are still available at: www.youthlight.com, to whom we are grateful for allowing the publication of this updated version of The Butterfly Story. We trust it will help many young children understand death as it helped Little Dave when his Grandpa died.

We can’t wait to reunite at heaven’s gate.

That smile is what started this amazing love story. God brought us together after prayer. I was so blessed to be loved by you. You were a man of God, always giving your life for others, and giving yourself to the prisoners, just as God asks. I will miss you on Earth with every cell in my body, but I know
