I am a young woman, an optimist yet I can very pessimistic sometimes. I am stubborn, driven, a romantic, a writer, and an author. I grew up with cerebral palsy and it was a struggle. I always had to prove myself and work harder than others just to do “normal” things. I was (kind of still am)mousy, a people pleaser. I made the best of it one achievement after the next, an actor on the stage. People knew of me but they didn’t really know me. It’s lonely. That’s why I starting writing. I wanted a connection. I wanted hope despite everything around me. I wanted real friends and love. I wanted a purpose. I started at age 10 with short stories. I read those back and they were definitely cringe-worthy fanfiction. Then they just got longer, deeper, soothing, healing. I was home. I decided this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and to share them despite being scared like hell. If I give hope or make someone dig deep within themselves and feel safe then I am a happy camper!

The Dark Night Of The Soul: Book 2:
Genevieve thought of dreams like her reality. A melancholic experience with a rarity of summer daylight. 99% of the time it was people laughing or scolding her, so she refused to remember them.
In this dream, a beacon followed her. Leave me be!
Genevieve was so focused on getting away that she tripped over a huge tree root.
The beacon leveled with her on the ground. The beacon dimmed and when looked she saw a male staring at her. I need you,
You don’t, so please leave me be!
Genevieve screamed herself awake.
Open your eyes,
Mark shook her.
Genevieve tried to fight him off. Let go of me!
Elizabeth ran in. Mark, let go of her, you’re not helping her,
But-
Mark protested.
By the order of the queen, I said let go!
Elizabeth stood her ground.
Sorry,
he released her and left.
Elizabeth closed the door and sat back with Genevieve.
Genevieve shivered. Elizabeth?
Hi, dear,
Elizabeth said.
What happened?
Genevieve asked.
What do you remember?
Elizabeth asked.
I remember the cake fight and then nothing,
Genevieve answered.
Honey, that was a month ago,
Elizabeth sighed.
What happened?
Genevieve asked.
You passed out, Mark carried you here, I gave you a salt bath and you’ve been sleeping ever since,
Elizabeth said.
I have been sleeping 24/7 for a month?
Genevieve asked.
Yes,
Elizabeth said.
Can I see Josalyn?
Genevieve asked.
The physician will see you first and then you may,
Elizabeth answered.
Thank you,
Genevieve said.
A few minutes later, a physician came and examined her. You are a walking miracle,
So, I’m OK, enough to train?
Genevieve asked.
I believe so, but we informed your trainer that you will do light work only,
the physician said.
I worked so hard for this, please!
Genevieve begged.
Genevieve, we almost lost you, please listen to what he says,
Elizabeth said.
I’m sorry, and I understand it’s just so disappointing,
Genevieve said.
It’ll only be until you get your strength back,
the doctor added and left.
Josalyn and Elias smiled. They were at the glens having a picnic while Mary watched them, but she was out
