The Four Promises of God - Ronnie Dauber
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
Thanks to my husband, Eric Dauber, who has encouraged me and supported me so that I could write this book.
Special thanks to Jesus, my Lord, Savior, King, and Friend, for His inspiration and direction in writing this book. To Him, be all the glory forever and ever!
INTRODUCTION
The church needs to wake up! It needs to stop hiding in the back pews and start speaking out the truth about what’s going on! But, how can it do that if it doesn’t know the truth? How can it speak up and tell people that Jesus is getting ready to come back and judge the world if it doesn’t know because the modern-day preachers are hiding it from them?
Many people call themselves Christians, but that title has become a congenial crux for those who want the best of both worlds. But the truth is, you can’t be citizens of both worlds; either you’re born again (John 3:3) into the citizenship of Heaven through the salvation of Christ (John 3:16), or you are a member of this world that’s heading for hell. We can’t serve two masters (Matthew 6:24). We have to pick one or the other, and if we haven’t chosen Jesus, then we remain with this world.
He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.—John 3:18
Things seem to be getting out of control, and this world is becoming a very scary place to live! There are no absolutes to follow anymore and no laws to cling to because they are all being changed to please the majority’s sinful lusts. This world is running out of time, and soon it will be overtaken by Satan, who will rule through the antichrist for seven years, and it will be a time of Great Tribulation, of terror and brutality like this world has never seen before. And then, Jesus will return and end the Great Tribulation, cast the devil into the bottomless pit, and rule for 1000 years, and it will be a time of peace like this world has never known.
Few people will survive the tribulation; most Jews will be slaughtered, and almost everyone who turns to God will be martyred. It will be a time of fear and torment that even Hollywood couldn’t dream up. But it’s a time that believers will not have to endure because His wrath is not for the righteous but the sinners, and so, Jesus will call all believers Home first.
For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.—1 Thessalonians 5:9
God has a plan, and it will bring justice to everyone. It will give the sinners their deserved judgment for their sins, and it will bring honor and reward to those who love Him.
Christians—believers of Christ who follow Him and obey Him—can’t stay in hiding! We need to learn the truth and be ready because God is coming whether we are ready or not! So let’s be wise; let’s be ready, and let’s work while there is light so that we can help others be ready.
Many so-called Christians aren’t even aware of what God is doing behind the scenes because it’s been more comfortable for them to look at God as being who they want Him to be so that they don’t have to give up any sin to be a good person.
Many even discredit God without ever searching the Scriptures for the truth.
But God is not the servant that most modern-day Christians think He is. The God that created this world, in the beginning, is the same God who still controls it today! He has not changed, nor will He change. We read in Hebrews 13:8 that Jesus is the same today as He was yesterday and as He will be tomorrow. David says in Psalm 33:11 that the counsel of the Lord stands forever. Whatever God has promised, He WILL bring to pass.
God’s plan is about to reach its climax for this world, and you need to be prepared, or you will die with it. This book will help you understand God’s plan so you can be ready for what will happen in our near future. It will help you know the four essential promises that God has given to us. He made them available to the whole world, but only those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior will receive the blessing from them.
There is only one way for people to know His promises and receive them. They must know God, and the only way to do that is to study the Scriptures (2 Timothy 2:15) and let His Spirit teach the truth to every heart that seeks it. As we draw closer to God and build a relationship with Jesus, we will know God and receive the life He’s given to us in His promises, both now and forever. We will be prepared and look forward to what is yet to come!
I hope this book will help you understand who God is and how these four promises are the very foundation of life, both here on earth and throughout eternity. I want to inspire you to know Jesus personally, and encourage you to dig into the Scriptures and learn God’s truth from God, Himself.
I pray that He will open the eyes and encourage the hearts of all who read the Four Promises of God.

The First Promise
Is
Our
Redemption
God’s Redeeming Love
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.—Ephesians 1:7
Of all the promises in the Bible, four are consistent throughout both testaments. They have more significance and impact on our lives than any other because they are the foundation that gives us life, today and forever. They provide each person ever born the reason to put their faith and hope in God and the fulfillment of His word. Without these four, there would be no other promises, no purpose to living, and no hope for a better life.
The first is the promise that God gave to Eve when He vowed that He’d send a Savior to take away our sins and redeem us back to Him. No other promise compares in magnitude or integrity to that of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The attribute that makes this promise so exceptional is that it’s not only a gift of love to us from God, but it is God Himself who would leave His throne in Heaven and come to earth to live as a man in a human body named Jesus.
God did this for one reason, and that was to sacrifice His body as an atonement for our sins! When Jesus was on the cross, He took on our sins because He was perfect and had no sin in Him. If He’d died without our sin, He would have immediately returned to Heaven. But that wasn’t God’s purpose. He came to save us, and so He took the punishment of a torturous and brutal death on that cross as a man, and He bore our sins so that when He died, He would be sent to hell—with our sins. This is where we would have gone with our sins because the wages of sin are death (Romans 6:23).
Once He was in hell, Jesus shed those sins and set all the people free who loved Him and were waiting for their Savior. He broke the chains of hell and death (Psalm 107:14)! Then Jesus rose out of the grave, and He was alive again! The grave could not hold Him (Acts 2:24)! Those who He’d set free were sent to Paradise to wait for the day when Jesus would call them Home. These are the believers who are sleeping in Jesus (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
God created the human race in perfection, but it was soon corrupt with sin and needed a Savior to redeem it back to God. To understand why this was necessary and why Jesus chose to sacrifice His own physical body, we need to go back to the beginning of time as recorded in the Holy Bible. We can’t comprehend the detriment of sin, the punishment of hell, or how sin will stop us from going to Heaven after we die unless we study the Scriptures. Only then will we learn what happened and why God gave the promise of salvation.
The Temptation and Fall of Man
It started in Heaven with Lucifer, a beautiful cherub of God whose honor it was to lead the other angels in worship. He did a fantastic job and was highly respected and loved by God and
