Post Traumatic II - Lamar L. Walker

    Chapter 1

Agent Carolyn Peterson walked into the security room of the hotel to have a look at their video footage. She had a gold card, as it pertained to the investigation of this Resort Strangler. This freak was traveling around Mexico, killing women in what ever resort he stopped at. Agent Peterson was desperate to put a stop to his terror.

She sat down in front of the security system, and looked over the set up. Once she understood the type of system she was working with, her fingers went to work. Peterson typed in the time given to her by the clerk, and stared at the screen. Okay, this is the same hat... her hands started working the keys, and going over every single angle of the guy in the hat. She followed him from the parking lot into the hotel. This is him! her heart sped up. 'This is the Resort Strangler!'

He kept his head down, and avoided cameras the entire walk from the parking lot to the front desk. That took some effort. Then he lost it.

The clerk denied him access to the hotel, and that threw him off of his game.

What do you mean I can't pay in cash?! His arms flailed outward, and his chin thrust forward.

Peterson froze the camera right there. She turned to the security guard, Can you please get Ms. Dominguez for me?

He nodded and headed right out.

    You find something? Larissa asked.

This is him, Caroyln nodded, and picked up her phone. Larissa stepped to the screen to get a closer look. It was just a side image of his face.

Hello? Yes ma'am. This is our guy! I got a shot of his face, but I want to put this Ms. Dominguez in protected custody. She got a good look at this guy, and I don't want him coming after her. Okay, yea, Carolyn hung up, and began working on the picture. She needed to send this through every data base she could think of. Caroyln prayed for a match. She was back in the game!

Let's upload this image to the news, she talked to herself as she worked to clean the image up.

    ***

The women at de Cabo were extra tipsy, and suddenly extra talkative. The new women finally got comfortable enough to talk out loud, and dance. The reality of their situation began sinking in. Everything felt different. The Orphans were perfect to help them settle. Their naive youthfulness posed no threat what so ever.

The young guys actually acted like young guys. Not knowing what to say to pretty women. They just watched from a distance, with an occasional smile. No macho, over the top bullshit. No entitlement, like they had a right to the women's body. There was genuine flirting, and genuine fun. Some even song along to the music. This was all rare. These women hadn't laughed in forever.

Esperanza took a few photos of the pool area, and ocean view, then sent the pics to Ani's phone. I need more girls, she spoke to Ani in a winning tone. You have to help me, Esperanza pleaded. These two were extremely close, and brief lovers.

What type of girls are you looking for? Ani asked.

Putas, Esperanza stressed. Prostitution is legal here. I need women who understand that sex is their job. I can't go out and recruit like you, and Lady.

How many girls you talking Ranza?

How many can you send? I have room. It was hard for Esperanza to hide her excitement.

Let me talk to Lady. We have some probates, but most these girls don't wanna leave. The probates might.

    Oh, I love you.

Fuck that. How is Ra doing?

He's better. He can walk a little on his own now.

Don't tell him I asked. I'm playing mad right now.

Well, the girls are for me. Not-

Come on Ranza, I wouldn't do that. I'll call back when I got news. Love you...

Esperanza hung up the phone and gazed over at the black chicks. They reminded her of Ani, and the Queens in the states. She nodded and went to her contact list. Her next call was Manfredo's old attorney, Eduardo. He and Esperanza had a cordial relationship. She didn't too much trust the guy with her finances, but he was a great contact.

Holley? His high pitched voice came across the phone quick. Esperanza? What a supersize to get a call from you.

Holley, Eduardo. How are you feeling? It was sad what happened to Manfredo.

Yes, yes, sad indeed he nodded into the phone. So, tell me, how can I help an old friend? Eduardo knew that this call had to be a business call. Esperanza rarely called his phone.

I have girls, she went straight to the point. Young beautiful girls, Eduardo. They are from every part of the globe. I need discreet clients, that are not into the rough stuff. I promised my girls no one will hurt them, and so did El General. She tossed that name out so he could know she was protected.

Where would I find these girls? Eduardo asked. He sounded very interested.

I'm in a small town called East Cape in San Jose de Cabo. Beautiful white sand, discreet location... safe. She knew the word safe was important for some of the older business men.

    Are we talking commission, or-

How about 200,000 euros to help me out?

How about 500,000 euros? Eduardo countered. He knew Esperanza was loaded.

I see you haven't changed, Eduardo. Esperanza frowned into the phone like he could see her. I will need some guarantee. I can't throw that kind of money into the wind.

I can fly in tomorrow morning. We can sit down, and go over some things.

That sound good, Esperanza nodded. I'll text you the info. She hung up nodding her head. Her next call was an old photographer she knew. Not only was the photographer into young women, he ran with a crowd of rich socialites. Women, drugs, and high fashion. Her wheels turned hard.

    ***

Ra looked across the seat at Rosa, and stared a second.

    What? Rosa looked at him.

Sophia stick you on me? He looked at her close.

That's not why I'm riding with you. There's nothing going on at the shelter.

You know snitches get stitches, Ra warned.

And you know if you cheat you get beat, she shot back, then burst out laughing. Ra had to laugh too. They must think that shit was funny.

Next time yo girl try some bullshit like this, we gone see.

    We gone see, Rosa challenged.

So you saying you gone help her?

    Yea I'm helping my girl.

Hey, pull the truck over, Ra called to the driver. We got one to go.

I'm not getting out. Rosa challenged. He stared across the seat at her.

I can't wait to heal up, he smiled. I'm gone see how tough you and your girl is.

No, we gone see how tough you are, she shot back like she was really ready to throw down. Ra got a kick out of that.

Tell me about your rescue. How did it go?

Oh, you should of seen me. I rolled under the garage door, and tip toed to the house. It was just like in the movies... she went on to tell the story. Rosa was super animated. The young Asian women seemed to hold on to every single word too.

    ***

Sophia stared out into the Gulf of California, doubting if she really had what it took to lead a group of people. 'I don't know anything about business,' she kept telling herself. The closer they got to their destination, the more uncertain she felt. The last of her familia traveled by ferry across the ocean. This way, they could take along their vehicles, and their contraband.

Lulu stood beside her, staring out into the ocean. She was excited. Total different energy than her hostess. The sun had just set. The orange, and purple skyline looked like an animated post card. I'm so happy to be home, Lulu looked around the top deck of the ferry. I forgot how beautiful Mexico was. She gazed at a few couples standing on the deck, enjoying the ocean view. It was easy to tell who were tourist and who weren't. The tourist cameras clicked constantly, as the skyline turned from a rustic orange to a dark purple.

Lulu pulled her own phone out to take a few pics. Don't it look like a painting? she marveled.

Sophia didn't respond. Lulu peeked over at her to see where her head was at.

What's on your mind? Lulu looked concerned. The old girlfriend?

No... I'm just nervous, Sophia answered honestly. I suppose to be responsible for all of these people, and I don't know exactly what my plan is. Ra always took care of the finances. Now, I have to think about how to take care of everybody.

These people are grown. Lulu looked at her crazy. The charity is over, Sophia. They have to find jobs, or find some other way-

But that's my job. She turned from the water. A leader makes sure that everyone has a way to make money. I don't want to run to Ra every time I need something done. Her worries sat on her face like thick mascara. It was impossible to hide. I can't run a night club. I can't-

Why not? Lulu challenged. If there is something you don't know, you hire people that do know. Hire managers, hire bartenders. You can do that. If people don't do their jobs, you fire their ass, then find somebody that can. In Houston, I help the manager run the restaurant, and we take care of everything. The owners do nada. She waved her arm. They barely come around, and they make loot. You hire people that know the job.

Sophia nodded, and turned back to the water. She needed to hear that. 'Hire people that can do the job.' Her mind bounced that around for a minute. She felt like she was suddenly in over her head. 'If Esperanza is the person that know everything about business, she will be the boss.' The plot was coming clearer by the second.

A buzzing phone brought her out of her thoughts. Sophia reached in her back pocket, and pulled her phone out. When she looked down at the screen, a deep frown creased her forehead.

    What is it? Lulu asked.

I'm beating this bitch ass, Sophia zoomed in to get a closer look. I don't care if he do get mad.

What? Lulu looked over her shoulder.

This bitch keep playing, Sophia passed Lulu her phone.

Who is she? Lulu turned her nose up.

Kendra stood in the bathroom mirror, topless. There were several sex toys lined up on the bathroom sink, with a caption that read, Thanks 4 dick pic.

You two used to date? Lulu didn't understand what she was looking at.

What? Sophia looked at Lulu like she was covered in shit. Hell naw we didn't date. That's one of his thots.

    You sent her a pic?

Yea. Sophia grabbed her phone and pulled up the pic she sent of Ra. She passed the phone back, and Lulu's eye almost jumped out into the ocean.

You sent her this?! Oh my god, Lulu put her hand to her mouth. Ra looked like he was long as her forearm.

She trying to make me think she ain't mad.

Oh, she mad, Lulu nodded, and passed the phone back. All of them toys together won't feel like that. She pointed at the photo. Believe me, I know. I had enough phone sex for a life time.

    Phone sex?

Yea. My man is locked up. Don't even get me started, Lulu fanned. Anyway, you-a-be a fool to let that girl get in your head. That man loves you. Lulu seen that clearly.

Sophia tucked the phone in her pocket, and turned back to the water. I still wanna beat this bitch ass. But you right... I just been watching him fuck other bitches for so long. I couldn't wait until I was old enough to chase them bitches off.

That's crazy you two been together since you were 11.

I used to fake nightmares, to chase women out of his bed, Sophia smiled.

    Are you serious?

Yea. He would get out of bed with them, and climb in my bed. Them bitches hated it, Sophia laughed.

How did you know you were bi-sexual? Lulu asked.

I was about 13, and Ra was having sex with his son's mother. Her name is Rain. She was tall, with this athletic body, and I used to sneak to the door and watch them have sex. She just looked so sexy to me. She dressed real feminine, and I found myself liking everything about her. So, I started climbing in bed with her, and laying underneath her, and my body would be on fire. She let me touch her breast, when I had questions. Soon I started touching them all of the time, Sophia smiled.

She taught me about my own body. I didn't know that I had a nice body at first. I thought I was too fat because she was slim. But, anyway I found out when I was 13 that I like girls. He's the only man I let touch me. She stared off for a second with a thousand yard stare then came back when two guy stepped forward.

Excuse me. How are you beautiful women doing? The guys were foreigners. Maybe American.

I'm gay, Sophia looked like she was annoyed.

Oookay... how are you? they turned to Lulu.

Sorry. I'm with her, Lulu gave a point with her thumb.

That is such a shame, one of the men groaned. The most attractive women we've seen, are gay? He looked like he just caught a stomach virus. Lulu thought that was funny. The women laughed as the men walked off.

Both Lulu, and Sophia were very voluptuous. Flaring hips, and big breasted.

We would make a cute couple, Lulu teased. Sophia cut her eye at her, causing Lulu to burst out laughing. Don't look at me like I'm too fat or something.

I'm looking at you like you're too high, Sophia smirked.

Let's go down to the bar, and get a drink. It's still like 10 hours left to touch land.

Sophia nodded, and fell in step with Lulu. Lulu might have just revealed something to Sophia about herself. She did possibly prefer the slimmer woman, over the thicker. Her eyes gazed at Lulu's butt, as they headed for the stairs. 'That's a lot of ass,' she smiled to herself.

I think I like women that are more girly, she said in an after thought.

No. You want to be the boss, Lulu shot back. Sophia thought about that a second.

    'That might be true...'

Kendra's picture haunted her in the back of her mind. Her perky beast reminded Sophia of Rain. She had the urge to look at the picture again.

'... fuck that bitch,' Sophia rolled her eyes, and fought the urge.

    Chapter 2

Ra woke up early, and sweated over the files of the target. Alexandria Kristolv. Russian weapons dealer. Dude light weight sound crazy, Ra read through the habits of this guy smirking. Wild parties... look like he never wore clothes. Every shot of the guy show him in some type of designer robe. He might be into boys, Ra looked closer at the background of the pictures for any female interaction. Whoever had taken these photos were part of the party. There weren't much female interaction, but there were plenty of half clad women walking around.

A second set of photos show dude in a pasley printed rob, walking to a limousine. A small army surrounding him. Another shot with him in an expensive rob, with a room full of people.

Ra began formulated a sketch of an idea, and needed to speak with Tank to learn more. The hotel the guy was scheduled to use sat smack dead in the middle of Juárez territory. There lied the biggest problem. They would have to get this guy in route to the hotel, or possibly at the airport.

The Asian crew started making their way into the kitchen.

Morning General, their tiny leader greeted. Her name was Kimmie, Ra learned.

Morning, he nodded. I hope one of y'all can cook.

No. You cook, she pointed. The duo laughed at the look on Ra's face. That is how, thee- American women speak, Kimmie smiled.

You ain't in America. Ra looked at her crazy.

No yet. No. She flashed a cute smile. You take me with you. Her smile was hopeful.

Can I go out to pool? Min asked. She was the mischievous one. Ra looked from one to the other. These two looked like they were up to something.

You can do whatever you want to. I keep telling you that.

Sí, she nodded, and headed for the back yard. Sophia had a huge swimming pool in her back yard. A big hot tube next to the pool. Min walked right to the hot tube, and began messing with the nobs. She thought it would be great to take a bath outside, looking up at the mountains.

We help you with bath, Kimmie said. She walked into his personal space, and touched his arm. You no bend good. We help. She nodded her head as if she was asking a question.

Thank you, but I'm alright, Ra returned the nod. Maybe another time.

She nodded, and headed out to the backyard. Ra watched her a second and smirked to himself. 'The plotting started...' funny. As he looked out back, he noticed Min strip naked, and look back to see if he was watching. She gave Ra a cute little wave, and climbed into the hot tube. The only thing he could do was shake his head.

    ***

Esperanza received the attorney, and smiled across the seat at him. You look well Eduardo.

Thank you. So do you. I'm happy to see you back in Mexico.

Yes... I'm happy to be back. It's really a beautiful country when we can find places away from the crime.

I agree... how can I be of help? It has to be more than just girls. He gave a firm look so she could take heed. Eduardo is a very accomplished business man, and well connected to the hierarchy of Western Mexico. Many offer girls. Most have no distinction as to rough sex, or no rough sex. Why will you be better?

Variety is one. Cleaner, safer environments than the places I remember, she gave a knowing look.

That's a great start, but not necessarily game changing. I have clients that own private islands, and glamorous homes, Eduardo added. He noticed the dilemma on Esperanza's face, and patted her hand. Don't worry. This first visit is free. We will have a good talk over breakfast, answer some key questions, then we do business. No?

That sound great. Esperanza was light weight humbled. She felt like she had it all ready, but she clearly didn't. A few pointed questions poked holes in her lay out real quick.

Will Kendra be joining your endeavor? Eduardo asked. It would be nice to have her close by.

You know we can't do anything without Kendra, Esperanza smiled. She hadn't said a word to Kendra about this set up. Her real investor would have a fit. But, Esperanza could find a way to make it all work.

Her wheels turned as they pulled into the parking lot of the condos.

The old attorney climbed out of car, and looked around nodding his head. The place look good Esperanza.

Thank you. As you see there is still construction going on, but it shouldn't be much longer. She led the old attorney through the gates of the compound, and smiled to herself. Esperanza had a mix of Eastern European, black, and latina women hanging out in the bar, as eye candy. It was a great atmosphere. Morning sun, relaxing ocean view, and cute colorful outfits.

'The women are quite pretty,' Eduardo noticed.

Would you like to sit out by the pool, or here inside the bar?

The bar is find, Eduardo nodded. The two of them took up seats, and the menus were brought right over.

The women looked at their guests, and thought him to be harmless. Heavy set, haiy... watchful eyes. They each wondered who would be the first to have to perform sex. A few queitly wanted to be the first one chosen, to show their willingness to be a team player. Mikya looked repulsed by the over weight attorney.

I hope he's not into black women, Mikya frowned.

No, one of the latina's smiled. He like blonds, she teased Jaqualine. Jaqualine caught the slight but she didn't mind.

At a thousand dollars, I hope so, Jaqualine responded. It be over in three, she put the fingers up, and laughed. The women shared in a warm laugh.

The food arrived, and Esperanza watched closely as Eduardo bit into his first bite. They sat and ate a few bites without a word. Esperanza played coy, to let him get comfortable enough to speak frankly. It didn't take long.

I can find this in other places, he looked around after a bite of food. The food would have to be better, for-

This is not our food, Esperanza leaned forward. These are the living quarters.

Good. Add food to your list, he gave a nod. That is very important. We love a private nook with vibrant company, and guilty food. His face lit up at the thought. That is the bait, my love. With great food, and exquisite visuals, I may bring a client by just for a meet, and enjoy an afternoon lunch. It's not always about the sex, you know. But, we do expect privacy. He nodded and took another bite of his breakfast. Privacy is key, he pointed. With El General's name, Eduardo leaned forward to stress his point. I can help make this place a safe haven for my business associates.

Esperanza listened as he spoke, and warning bells went off. What he shared was insightful, but she also remembered his associates. Your business can be dangerous, Esperanza paused.

So can yours, he smirked. A rich guy hurt one of your girls, your men discipline him, then finds out he's the nephew of some crazy man. Danger is part of our world love. Our dear friend Manfredo died old, and rich. He knew those diamonds were too dangerous. Yet, he chose to take that risk. Those are not the type of risk I'm wlling to take, Eduardo shook his head. You create an atmosphere that's safe, private, and exotic, I'll provide you with a very elite clientel. Keep the hot heads out, he winked.

I have a meeting with my realtor in 15 minutes. Hopefully he's about to show me the perfect place. I'll have my driver take you to the airport. Esperanza stood, and extended her hand. Thank you for coming.

That's fine. He stood, and shook her hand. But, I would like to add, if you are ever in need of extra cash, or a private investor, I would be willing to help out. You may be on to something here.

Thank you. That's encouraging coming from you. Esperanza nodded. I'll call after I've found the property. She turned and headed out like she had urgent business to attend. Eduardo gave the ladies a polite wave, and headed for the car. The ladies were suprized that neither of them were called upon for their services. They watched the new boss with pure curiosity as she walked off. For sure they thought this meeting was an ice breaker.

'She wants to see who's a team player.' They were convinced in that line of thinking. The women who volunteered, even joked about getting their first blow job out of the way.

Esperanza sent her guest away with no sex. That was different. Her powerful strides left the ladies wondering.

'This greedy prick could hardly contain himself,' Esperanza thought as she walked for the elevator. 'A private meeting place for his network of weathly men?' Her mind turned the thoughts over as she waited on the elevator.

    ***

The drive from La Paz, to San Jose del Cabo was no more than an hours drive. Most of the orphans drove the road in the back of the pick up trucks, and displayed their excitement as they drove along the road to their new home. Everyone was excited for the next phase of thier lives.

    Look at the view, esé.

This particular stretch of road revealed miles and miles of white sand beaches, and turquoise water.

Isaac say you see that everywhere.

I'm going to live on the beach... The conversation went on like this as they road the stretch of beach.

The driver in the last truck looked back spooked, when he noticed a cop turn on his lights. Shit, he cursed under his breath. This truck in particular was loaded to the teeth with weapons. At least 15 Ak 47s, and he didn't know how many hand guns, or ammunition.

Call ahead to Sophie! The driver looked into the reaview nervous. Tell her we're being pulled over. He slowed the truck down, and eased to the side of the road. The men piled in the back, looked on anxiously as the cop car pulled behind them.

Everybody stay calm, the driver whispered as he rolled down the window. The young familia tried their best to act normal. They knew exactly what they were riding on.

Two cops climbed out of the crusier, and quietly released the buttons on their holstered weapons. They quickly cops scanned the faces of the passengers in the back.

Is there some problem? one of the guys in the back asked.

Where are you heading? the young cop did a quick head count.

To the beach, one orphan pointed.

The second officer walked pass the group in back, and headed for the driver's window.

Is there a problem? the driver asked.

Yes. Where are you guys headed?

To the beach, he repeated what his buddy said.

What beach? The officer came back.

Why does it matter? The driver asked.

Can you step out of the vehicle, the officer put his hand on the butt of his weapon.

Can you tell me what I did wrong?

I'm not going to ask you again.

Hey. Sophia gave a sharp yell. She almost took off in a dead sprint getting back to where the last truck had stopped. The cop looked up at the charging woman. Why are you grabbing your weapon!? Sophia asked. She stormed forward like lioness. Long powerful strides. The officer turned to face her. She began tying up her hair like she was preparing for a fight.

Ma'am, you need to stop where you are, the cop put his hand up, like a stop signal.

What do you want? Sophia asked. The cop snatched his pistol out, and she froze. She now stood maybe five feet away from the officer.

Don't move any further, he warned her. Sophia's face masked in anger.

If you believe that we are going to pay you to drive through here, you got a supersize coming, Sophia challenged.

Pay? No, I would like to know what you are doing here, the cop clarified.

The second cop stepped forward to aid his partner. They both sized the young lady up. Sophia noticed the second cop raising his weapon.

If you point that weapon at me, you will die where you stand, Sophia growled.

Ma'am, we are making sure that you guys are not coming here to cause trouble. This is a big crowd, and you cannot threaten a cop-

What do you want?!! Sophia screamed. Her scream was a war cry. The entire familia prepared for an attack. Knives came out, and all eyes focused on the two cops.

We're just trying to make sure you're not here to cause trouble. This is a peaceful city-

Fuck your city. She stepped closer. I will come and go as I fucking please. Until I do something wrong, you will leave me and my familia the fuck alone! Do you hear me?!! Sophia stared them down.

Both cops understood that they had to dial this one back. They were grossly out numbered, and the woman was clearly ready to attack.

We don't take kind to you threatening us for doing our job.

I don't take kind to being harassed. Sophia looked at her driver. Go, she waved, and turned back to the cops. We have done nothing wrong, so you have no right to bother us.

The cops watched the truck pull off, and looked at Sophia like she was fucking loco. 'She really just waved them forward?' They were no longer out numbered, and she stood alone facing them like she could whoop the both of them.

What is your name? One of the cops dared to asked.

Shake down somebody else, Sophia spun her hand. She stormed off pissed. 'They got me confused,' she mumbled to herself.

Reluctantly, the cops allowed her to walk away. They weren't sure what she would do if they tried to stop her.

Who do you think that was? One asked as they stared at her back.

I don't know, but I need to find out. The cops turned for their own vehicle. They've been around long enough to know her type. Had they tried to detain her, it would have turned into a big shootout. These were the type of people they were trying to keep out of Baja California.

Lulu stared at Sophia a second when she climbed back inside the truck. What Lulu just witnessed would never have happened in Houston. That truck was loaded down with some type of contraband, and Sophia just walked down on the cops daring them to touch it.

You wild, Lulu looked at her. Sophia cut her eyes, and turned back to her window. Adrenaline ran through her body like rocket fuel. She was ready to fight.

You have to let these people know. Take that shit somewhere else. They wouldn't of stop El Chapo like that. She rolled her eyes, and fell back in her thoughts. Lulu just watched. 'They may not have stopped him, but... is she calling herself that?' Lulu's face balled up.

The rest of the ride went smooth. Soon, the conversations went back to starting a new life. The excitement picked back up to a fever pitch as they neared the condos.

Look at this? Juan was the first to stare in disbelief. Enormous buildings lined the block, surrounded by strip malls, and palm trees. Half naked women walked pass the traffic light, heading for the beach.

Hey senorita, wait up! the young guys began flirting with the tourist walking by. Women waved, and smiled at the young crowd, and the lil homies acted like they were fainting in love. This was the thing that calmed Sophia. She enjoyed seeing her guys happy.

We have the last building at the far end of the road, Sophia nodded at Lulu. I can't wait to get set up.

This is batty, Lulu looked around crazy. You have an entire building?

We have an entire building, Sophia agreed.

When the trucks pulled into the parking lot of the condos, all you could see was teeth. Huge grins covered everybody faces.

Sophia climbed out of the truck, and looked at her girls. She wore a huge grin on her face as well. Ladies, hurry to go pick your condos before the guys try to take all of the good ones. That's all she had to say. The ladies hurried to grab their bags, and rushed for the door. It was always a big competition between the men and women.

22 women were on board of this trip. Some of the young women that worked the shelter joined the big exodus. Everyone in the familia were not fighters, but all of them were rescued by Ra, and Sophia. Some of these ladies were actually in relationships with some of the young men.

Cartele Huérfano! Isaac yelled when he and the others rushed out to greet the family.

Familia de Huérfano! some yelled back.

The scene looked crazy. Forty plus young people yelling and flexing.

Pure excitement rung through the heavens.

The yelling, and flexing was all done in the confines of their own parking lot, behind their own building. No neighbors to complain. The back of the condo had a parking lot just for this building.

Esperanza made sure to take the far end condo that did not have a neighboring building to the left of them. Enough separation to the right, where the young rowdiness would not cause alarm.

Let's move all of this stuff inside, Sophia yelled. She started by opening the side door of the van, and grabbing a box of cash. The familia all jumped to work. Lulu focused on her, and Leon's stuff. She solicited help from Isaac, and had him grab the money that Leon sent over. Lulu's bankroll stayed close to her own hip.

There go my jefa, Esperanza hurried out to wrap her arms around Sophia's neck. She almost jumped into her arms. If Sophia wasn't carrying the box, she would have jumped into her arms.

We did it! Esperanza rocked Sophia side to side. We need to talk. I have to go look at a property, but I'll be back soon. I love youuu. She kissed Sophia on the lips.

So we doing that already? Sophia stared at her.

What?.. Yes we're doing that already. I loved you before you fucked me, she made sure to stare Sophia in her eyes. The two stared like they were suddenly sizing each other up. 'Why would she say that?' Esperanza wondered.

I told you bout trying to play me like I'm dumb.

Don't make me cancel this meeting. Esperanza flashed some fire of her own. I'm not going to keep having this conversation with you. It's us against the world... have you changed on me? Esperanza was dead serious.

No, Sophia conceded. Don't say shit you don't mean.

You taught me that lesson already, Esperanza glared. Sophia dropped the stare.

...the 5th floor is all spoken for, Esperanza explained. That's the floor for the working girls.

Okay. Hurry back, Sophia leaned forward and kissed her this time. Her little way of saying sorry. Of course Sophia's new road dog was watching. 'This young bitch got the best of both worlds.' Lulu had to really wrap her head around that one.

How many rooms you need? Isaac asked Lulu.

Oh, um, it's three of us, Lulu came back to reality. Isaac nodded, and led the way.

    Chapter 3

Ra escorted his team inside of the gym, and Tank was already inside. Instead of workout mats on the floor, or lines of heavy bags, there were fabricated targets set up, looking like humans. Multiple weapons lined the top of two fold out tables. Eyes lit up at the sight of all of the guns, and targets.

Everybody, this is our new self defense instructor. His name is Tank. Tank... this is everybody.

Greetings, Tank nodded, stepping forward. What you see here is an obstacle course. Some targets are regular pedestrians, and some are bad guys. The object is to shoot around the pedestrians, only hitting the bad guys.

The young familia looked on like it was a video game. Their eyes were stuck in wide lens mode.

...we will train for a few hours, take a food break, rest, then come back for a few more hours for strength training. So, if that is too much for you, this is not the place you want to be. We will work hard, we will sweat harder, and I promise you that we will all fall in our beds sleep on our feet. Now... is there anyone that wish to leave? Tank looked around at the faces.

Not one person moved. Tank smirked.

Good. First question, do we have anyone here that can aim a rifle?

Sí, Cazador's head jerked up, as he stepped forward. Two other young guys stepped forward as well.

Okay... let's see what you got. We need sharp shooters, and we need close combat fighters. I'll start with the sharp shooters. General, you start with the close combats drills. Here are your grids.

The young familia stepped forward eager to start. This looked like it was about to be exciting. Ra even started grinning when he looked down at the grids. He cursed for not being able to participate.

Leon, grab somebody to help us move these targets around.

The President of Mexico just gave Special Agent Peterson access to their top satellites to track down this crazy serial killer. She was ecstatic. Carolyn felt like she had a brand new sports car. The condition was helping the President track down the infamous Marco. Jefe to Los Zetas Cartel. The bastard that bribed his secret servicemen, and snatched his kid. Absolutely, she agreed without a second thought.

Carolyn sat down and went to work tracking the car The Resort Strangler drove. After running the plates through the system, she went back to each crime scene on record.

This prick. She stared at this same exact car come in and out of several different hotel parking lots. Each location was a crime scene.

The Resort Strangler's vehicle was not a rental car at all. It was the same car he'd been driving all across Mexico.

Unfucking real, Peterson stared at the car.

Carolyn not only tagged the plates, she actually worked the system, until she found the car driving into a small town called La Pesca, on the east coast of Mexico.

Here. She pointed on the map. Call and have any hotel here to accept the cash payment. We need him to get comfortable, and stay put.

Where am I calling? Larissa asked. Carolyn quickly pulled up every hotel in La Pesca. She went to a separate screen, and watched the white vehicle drive right into the parking lot of a physical structure she had no clue as to what it was. She quickly typed the location into the GPS.

Before she got up to rush out of here, she wanted to make sure that the perp was planning on staying in La Pesca. It was almost impossible to contain herself. We'll have him in custody before night falls, Carolyn picked up her phone.

Sophia looked around the dinning room of the penthouse, not knowing where to start.

There were 14 baby AK 47's sitting on the dinning room floor. Sitting beside the assault rifles were 52 cardboard boxes, filled to the rim with cash.

Two duffle bags of Glock 40's, and 9 Millimeter Meters sat on the opposite side of the AK's... 36 kilos of cocaine piled up beside that, and 50 pounds of Mexico's best marijuana sat on top of the dinning room table. She had the slightest where to start. The dinning room was cluttered with contraband.

The locks turning on the front door made Sophia look back. Her new partner in crime came flying through the door.

You're going to love this new property, Esperanza rushed in smiling. She took a few steps into the living room, and stopped in her tracks. Guns made her nervous. The assault rifles looked like snakes coiling on the floor.

We need to find a place to put'em, Sophia said. It was like she could read Esperanza's mind.

There's a storage bin on the roof, Esperanza nodded. She walked over to the dinning table, and gazed at all of the contraband. We're going to get so rich, she smiled. What's in these boxes?

Esperanza opened the lid, and peeked inside. Her eyes almost jumped out of her head. Are you fucking kidding? Esperanza looked down at the other boxes. Is this all cash?!

Yea... all hundred dollar bills. All U.S. currency.

You're kidding. She looked around at the boxes, like they held some ancient artifact. How much is it? Esperanza asked. There wasn't too much that shocked her, but this definitely did.

I haven't counted it yet. It should cover what you spent for the condos, if not, I'll have to go back to get-

This is way more, Sophia. How much in each box? Esperanza couldn't think straight. She never in her life seen so much cash. She pulled a box to the floor, and flopped down beside Sophia. Her little hands began pulling money out of the box.

We can't count all of this now, Sophia frowned.

No. But we can count what's in this box. If all of the boxes are the same, we can guesstimate what we got. Esperanza sat several stacks in front of Sophia. She emptied the box out, and the counting commenced. Every hundred bills is $10,000. We put that in a pile, Esperanza instructed.

That's how the counting started. Every time one of them counted to a hundred, they sat that stack to the side. The counting became super exciting. Sophia was suddenly eager to know how much money she had here. The piles were stacking up fast. Soon it was a small barrier of cash cutting them off from the rest of the dinning room.

Esperanza quickly began counting the piles to see how much they had here. Her finger, and head went down the line. 'Thirty.'

30 times 10 is 300,000, Esperanza announced. She stood up, and began counting the boxes. There were so many boxes they took over the dinning room. She pulled her phone out to do the math faster. '300,000 x 52... 15,600,000.'

Oh my god. Esperanza looked up at Sophia like she was an alien. Where did you get all of this? She looked back at the door like she half expected somebody to kick in the door waving weapons.

How much is it? Sophia asked.

I don't know exactly, but if each one of these boxes has $300,000 in it, we're looking at $15,600,000! Bitch, cash! Esperanza gawked.

Are you serious? Sophia looked like she was shocked, but her shock came from what she had left at the house.

Yes I'm serious. I paid 9 for the building, so half would be 4.5 million. You'll still have over eleven million dollars to yourself. That's a lot of money Sophie. My god... what are you going to do with all of that? She looked at Sophia like she suddenly had a python draped around her neck.

I don't know yet, Sophia smirked.

Let's put it in one of the spare bedrooms, and talk business when we're done. I have a couple of ideas to run pass you.

Okay, but I don't like this furniture, Sophia said as she stood up. It look cheap.
