The Great God Question?

The old battle of faith versus experience and wisdom regarding whether a creator God exists. In my experience, the no fact is pretty well entrenched as in 50 years of intelligent perusal over a multitude of experiences I haven't found any basis to believe in that being. Also given the intelligent and intuitive understanding of previous writings I believe if they are incorrectly viewed and understood and therefore truly can't prove such a beings existence.

Introduction

Some 15 years ago, while writing my biography and shaman spiritual training manual, I was still occasionally deliberating on whether a supreme creator existed.

My choice at that time was still up for discussion. I wrote several dissertations in the various frames of thought that existed at the time, giving my ideas intellectual substance.

In fact, reading them now many years on, it does read that I had an underlying pro-God’s existence viewpoint back then. The God question, even though I knew the reasons for the multiple perspectives, the answer was for me, both unknown and, for the most part, not worth the effort to chase. I couldn't for the life of me work out why people would spend time asking no one discernible either intellectually or spiritually for whatever, this particularly seeing that for the most part, other’s prayers weren’t being answered.

For myself, the God question never was worthy of my attention as it had nothing to do with becoming the best I could be. Well, I didn’t need a God to believe in, pray to for salvation or ask for guidance. I found this nonsense to attribute his blessings or gifts as they are called to a divine creator.
