About this ebook
A courier of the Maritime Postal Service, Santo, a cod fish, takes on a special assignment: to find the missing delivery. In his search, travelling from the North Pole to the South Pole, he learns about the variety of life in the ocean and its problems. Will Santo be able to save the reputation of the Maritime Postal service despite the nefarious efforts of the underwater criminals? It seems that the outcome of the age-old conflict between the Penguin Kingdom and the White Bear Empire hinges on the delivery of a sacred parcel.

Santo and the missing delivery - Alisa Joel K
PREAMBLE
It is well-known fact that the world is divided in two. To the south lies the Penguin Kingdom, to the north is the Empire of the White Bears. Since time immemorial, the two countries have held dominion over land and sea. All the inhabitants respected this state of affairs. One of them is Santo, a middle-aged cod who lives in the Mediterranean Sea and, like most cod, works as a Maritime Postal Operative, or postman to you and me. Santo is very dedicated to his work, and like all his colleagues, he carries out every task to the letter.
SPECIAL DELIVERY
A postman's morning always starts with his daily allocation of deliveries. The cod postmen start swimming early, in order to be able to deliver all orders within the day. But one morning Santo did not receive his usual allocation of deliveries. Not only this, while all the other postmen were swimming away with their delivery lists in their fins, the head of the department, a medium-sized but irritable sablefish, summoned Santo to his office.
Santo,
the boss decided to get straight to the point, "the Maritime Postal Service is famous for its punctuality. But something has happened that calls our reputation into question. A few days ago, we were tasked with delivering a precious cargo. However, it seems our postmen have disappeared, simply vanished together with the cargo. For now, this information is confidential. But if the delivery is not made imminently, there will be a scandal.
The main concern is that our postmen will be accused of theft, and confidence in the Maritime Postal Service will be seriously undermined."
