About this ebook

Letter to Self

Dear self

I’ve grown to know you as a person who lives within my thoughts. You’ve carried and seen me through different seasons of my life and still do. Here I am self, expressing my gratitude to you. You taught me to appreciate life for what it is. Over time I began to understand the relationship between my mind and life. This understanding helped me to compute debits and credits of my being. Sometimes my account wouldn’t balance, other times it would and this became an ongoing process of life.

If not, its emotional and physiological being will be congruently chained down or temporarily freed. Truth be told, palliation temporarily eases the pain of ignorance but grants circumstances permission to regrow and produce cataclysmal outcomes worthy of death’s gain, unless the mind becomes adamant to identify the cause or put sound measures in place to address the situation.

Thoughts and emotions carry the power to reel life into their axis, to control it. Sometimes, the two can make life lose its identity if blinded by circumstances. Other times, they may equip it with strategies necessary to alter its being for the better. Thoughts have the power to tailor life in a positive or negative way. Negative thoughts transmit negative emotions to the heart to digress life while positive ones, empower its being.

Often times, the mind lives within the past and present spheres because of its failure to decipher the things that may take it to the
