About this ebook
Letter to Self
Dear self
I’ve grown to know you as a person who lives within my thoughts. You’ve carried and seen me through different seasons of my life and still do. Here I am self, expressing my gratitude to you. You taught me to appreciate life for what it is. Over time I began to understand the relationship between my mind and life. This understanding helped me to compute debits and credits of my being. Sometimes my account wouldn’t balance, other times it would and this became an ongoing process of life.

Prologue
There are times when the mind and life engage in controversy because the life that is cognitively controlled by circumstances, progressively intertwines thoughts and emotions, looping the two as winders that cause it to move in a circular way, and thus cause it to be wound. Sometimes, life asks the mind questions, not necessarily out of interest for its wellbeing, but to locate its whereabouts.
Sometimes, life keeps the mind in confinement, to discourage, talk down and infer weakness upon it, but when courage finds its way in the heart, peace advocates the confidence that the mind requires in tremulous times and every other day.
When the mind prevents life from taking off, life should dismantle a series of conscientious activities intended to subdue its being. If not, its emotional and physiological being will be congruently chained down or temporarily freed. Truth be told, palliation temporarily eases the pain of ignorance but grants circumstances permission to regrow and produce cataclysmal outcomes worthy of death’s gain, unless the mind becomes adamant to identify the cause or put sound measures in place to address the situation.
Thoughts and emotions carry the power to reel life into their axis, to control it. Sometimes, the two can make life lose its identity if blinded by circumstances. Other times, they may equip it with strategies necessary to alter its being for the better. Thoughts have the power to tailor life in a positive or negative way. Negative thoughts transmit negative emotions to the heart to digress life while positive ones, empower its being.
Often times, the mind lives within the past and present spheres because of its failure to decipher the things that may take it to the
