About this ebook
Best Friends and Drama Queens is the third book in Meg Cabot's hilarious series for younger readers, Allie Finkle's Rules for Girls.
Allie Finkle likes to live by her own rules, such as 'Just because something is popular doesn't mean it's good'. But it's hard to stick to the rules when other people won't play fair. Allie is totally excited when a new girl joins her class! But Cheyenne quickly becomes a complete giant pain – she thinks she's sooo mature, wearing high-heeled boots and making everyone play the kissing game (yuck!). But when Allie doesn't want to play, Cheyenne gets mad. Really mad. As Allie and Cheyenne go head-to-head, the rules of friendship are about to be broken . . .

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Right before winter break ended one of Allie's friend Erica seen their other friend Caroline at the airport and she said that their teacher had big news for them when they got back to school. They find out that the class was getting a new student and that the new student is a girl and she is from Canada. The whole class is so exited for having a new girl. But Cheyenne (the new girl) see them going in to the bushes and she asks them what they were doing and they said that they were playing a game and then she ask them what it is and she says it is very immature. Later that day they seen her chasing boys and trying to kiss them and then she had every boy going with the every girl. But Allie and her friends do not want to go with a boy but her friends end up going with boys expect for Rosemary and when Cheyenne finds out she start to say that Allie is immature. Allie really dose not want o lose her friends but she dose not want to go with anyone. So will Allie stand up to her or will she lose her friends because she is not going with anyone. Allie Finkle's Rules For Girls Best Friends And Drama Queens is my favorite of the series. It is one of my favorite books out of the series because it shows young readers that it is not always good for you to listen or do what people tell you to do because sometimes you get in trouble for it. It also shows people how to stand up to you problems and say no. I love books that have lessons to them. Also I like the rules in this book. I give this book 4 stars because I needed more detail. Also I do love this book but It did show people it was ok to be mean because Cheyenne was being mean to the girls and she did not get in trouble
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Allie Finkle loves her new school, new friends and most of all her fourth grade teacher Mrs.Hunter. (Mrs. Hunter even told Allie’s grandmother that she’s a joy to have in class!) So after winter break, Allie is really excited to return to school. Her excitement builds when she learns a new girl from Canada will be in her class. To assist the new student with adjusting to a new school, Miss Hunter asks Allie to give up her desk, which is next to her best friend Erica, for a desk that’s in the back of the room where the “bad” boys sit. Not wanting to say no, Allie reluctantly agrees.Unfortunately for Allie the new girl, Cheyenne O’Malley thinks she’s immature for playing the pretend game of Queens. Instead Cheyenne wants to chase after the boys so she can kiss them. Cheyenne also wants every boy and every girl to “go together”, which Allie and her friends aren’t sure where they are to “go” to.Allie knows she’s not ready to be as “mature” as Cheyenne. After all she’s in the fourth grade and doesn’t want a boyfriend. There’s plenty of time for that. Will Allie risk standing up to Cheyenne even if it means losing her friends?
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Allie isn't the new girl anymore but she sure wishes she still was. New girl Cheyenne is just a little too sassy for fourth grade.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Allie and her friends have just come back from winter vacation. They are excited about the new Canadian student, Cheyenne O'Malley, until she tells them that they are babyish. You see, Cheyenne thinks playing make believe games with your best friends is immature. Soon Cheynne introduces the fourth grade classes to the "kissing game." In this game, the girls chase a certain boy around during recess until he is cornered, and then they kiss him on the cheek. Allie and her friends don't want to partake in the kissing game. They enjoy playing Dance Party America, "queens," and dollhouse. However, as the other girls in the fourth grade classes get caught up in the "kissing game" and "going with" boys, Allie, Sophie, Erica, and Caroline become stressed and even start fighting with each other. What will they do to survive the craziness that fourth grade has become?Best Friends and Drama Queens, the third book in the Allie Finkle's Rules for Girls series, is just as charming as the first two. Allie and her friends face very relatable fourth grade situations. I can remember the same talk about "going with" boys when I was in fourth grade and not wanting to be a part of the hoopla. I love the fact that Meg Cabot wants children to be children. They have plenty of time to grow up.
