About this ebook

Johnson:

My sin is pride and ego. I'm the alpha male of the office, the big dog, the hottest man you've ever met.

When I offer to do Kit a favor and give her my best in the bedroom, she laughs me off. She doesn't need my favors and frankly, she's right. A curvy goddess like her can get any man.

But that's okay, I'm willing to sacrifice my pride if it means getting what I want and what I want is simple: Kit Hunter in all her glory.

I'll apologize, I'll get down on my knees, I'll beg if that's what it takes. Kit will be mine.

And one to take out the trash on Tuesdays, that's the deal.Life is always a little crazy, but Kelsie believes that you can always slip away for a few minutes into a book and find a little calm. She tries to write about everyday people. The curvy girls, the blue-collar boys, police officers, cowboys, and more. But occasionally a billionaire slips past and makes her toes curl. Pride - Kelsie Calloway

    JOHNSON

Elizabeth walks around the corner in her peep toes stilettos and pencil skirt looking four kinds of fuckable. I swear she wears this outfit just to drive the men around this office crazy. I also reorganized your files to specification and updated your portfolio, as asked, she says as she trails behind her boss, Kit.

Now there’s a different kind of woman. She’s a few sizes larger than Elizabeth and you wouldn’t catch her in a pencil skirt if that’s all she had left that was clean. In fact, I bet she doesn’t even own a pencil skirt.

Hey, Elizabeth, I greet from my office, leaning against the frame of my door with a smile hanging off my lips. How’s it going?

Kit’s sharp gaze looks up from the papers in her hands as she searches for the sound of my voice and she narrows her beautiful green eyes at me. Johnson, is her greeting.

I think I said Elizabeth, I taunt her.

Good morning, Johnson, Elizabeth returns my morning greeting almost breathlessly. The women around this office have a habit of speaking to me as though they are on the verge of an orgasm. It’s a pretty spot-on impression and I’m curious what Kit sounds like when she’s on the edge, but she’s been feigning disinterest. How are you?

Elizabeth, Kit scolds her assistant, we have work to do.

I cluck my tongue and saunter over towards them as Kit opens the door to her office and enters. I wasn’t invited in, but whoever let that stop them? Kit, let the girl enjoy herself while she’s still young. Maybe if you’d done that, you wouldn’t have a stick shoved so far up your ass— Oops, it looks like I crossed a line.

The scowl on Kit’s face tells me that I pushed things a little too far. Elizabeth, leave. Or Johnson, one or the other.

Oh, I’m not leaving, I tell her as I plop down in the comfy chair in front of her desk, throwing my feet up on the mahogany and leaning back. You can stay, too, I tell her assistant, though it’s not my place to tell the brunette what to do.

Kit is beyond frustrated with my antics. The beautiful, curvy goddess lets out a sigh of obvious disdain before telling Elizabeth to continue the morning
