About this ebook

The Womb of Africa carries my glory is a revelation of God's love for the African continent and her people. It tells of how He, God, has come to personally redeem and restore Africa's ravaged womb, and marry her, and impregnate her with His Holy Seed, so that she may birth His divine government and perfect will on the earth.

There is a great deal of searching among many people of the continent of Africa, especially among the youth – searching for identity, origins, purpose and belonging - all with the hope of finding a connection to a certain god with whom they can identify. This book seeks to reveal the heart of God, His DNA and His divine presence in Africa.

This book seeks to bring a divine revelation of a unique calling to redeem the stolen womb of humankind and to preserve the seed and the redemptive gifts. Individuals, families, the church, peoples, cities and nations each have a womb; each have unique redemptive gifts and each have divine prophetic destinies. However, without healthy wombs to carry these redemptive gifts and holy seeds, there is no hope for the people and the nations to ever fulfil God's divine prophetic destiny for each person. In the womb is where life begins. Where there is a womb, there is great potential.

God designed Africa, her womb and her offspring to carry His glory, His blessing and His never-ending potential. Because of these very things, war and contention came upon Africa. She has been hijacked, raped, deceived, dragged through the mud, defiled, made unhealthy, diseased and curses have come upon her. The enemy has managed to manipulate the very gift that came from God, causing it to become unfruitful, to lie dormant or to serve his evil purpose. The holy seed therefore became unsafe; the lives and destinies of many were lost.

In this book Clementia shares her testimony of how the Lord drew her out of deep darkness and journeyed with her through divine deliverance from her very painful and very dark past, giving her a deep revelation of Himself and His divine will and releasing her into the intercessory and the prophetic ministry, and graciously making her part of His redemptive story. This book aims to bring hope to the lost, the condemned, the guilty, the shameful, the nameless, the rejected, the suffering, the confused, the angry, the hurting and the searching. It aims to help them heal, discover, recover and understand their redemptive call, and thereby fulfil their divine prophetic destinies and mandates. This book is for anyone who has or who has not committed adultery, abortion, murder, gone through divorce, stolen, worshipped ancestors, or been involved in witchcraft or the like.

In its nature, this book is a testimony, it is revelatory, prophetic, living, progressive and restorative.

    Introduction

In the vision I saw, we were in the middle of intense war. I saw multitudes of army vehicles approaching at a distance. There was great turmoil, gun shots everywhere, a kind of a broad daylight rolling massacre. People were running down the streets, fear written all over their faces, with women and children in their midst. I joined the multitudes, running for my life when I realised that the army vehicles were rapidly approaching.

Coming across an unseen ditch, I stumbled and fell in. People were running over me. Within a matter of seconds, army soldiers arrived. They were shooting at anything and everything that they came across, which at that time was me. I pretended to be dead but, to my surprise, they continued to shower my body with dozens of bullets. For some reason, the bullets did not penetrate my body. They merely tore my garments apart, shredding them to pieces, but not going through my skin. The soldiers passed on, leaving me for dead – or so they thought.

About an hour later, having assessed the surroundings for safety, I emerged from the ditch and ran in another direction, away from the deadly chase. This little town, which I knew by revelation was Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, was now completely silent. Just dead bodies everywhere and burning fires and smoke from the nearby buildings. It was an unpleasant scene to behold.

I continued running, trying to escape, to get out of the city. I ran through small suburbs, then villages and different locations. Within a matter of hours, I was somewhere in the middle of a farm, far away from the cities. It was now becoming dark, as the sun had set. However, the war was still raging on, the people were still being chased, women were being raped and men were being killed. Running between rows of dry corn and long grass, and crossing rivers, I noticed that an army soldier of European descent was chasing me very closely. I feared for my life, for I knew what would happen to me should he catch up to me.

The man eventually did catch up with me. He grabbed me and violently threw me onto the ground and began to pull down my clothes, undressing me. I silently prayed, surrendering my life to Jesus. Immediately, as I started to pray, the fear inside of me disappeared. I felt a sense of peace. It was God’s holy presence.

When this man tried to come into me, after undressing me, all of a sudden a huge glowing light came out of my womb. It was so bright that it blinded this man completely. All around was glory, glory, glory – a very bright and glorious light. Greatly puzzled, shocked and filled with fear, this soldier, the perpetrator, stood back up and, trembling, he ran away, stumbling and falling as he fled.

My whole body felt a great sensation of love. As this vision lifted, I could literally feel the tangible presence of the fire of love, all around my body and especially in my abdomen. Then I heard the voice of the Lord say, It did not begin with the rape. There was a story before the rape. My glory within her will be revealed again. She will be healed, delivered, restored and fully protected. Her latter glory will be greater than the former. She will dance before me again.

God was talking about Africa: His glory risen upon her and Him being her ultimate saviour, restorer and protector. I wondered, why the nation of Congo in this vision? What is the connection between this nation, the womb, and the glory of the Lord? I knew though that this nation, located in central Africa, was one of the most ravaged of nations on the continent. The most hit by wars, unrest, shame, poverty and the like, and yet the richest in natural resources. The Lord then revealed to me that the womb of Africa is in this nation. Many believe that the very heart of Africa is located somewhere in the rain forests of this nation. The Lord then revealed that there is a very deep and holy connection between the heart and the womb.

Five years after this vision, I met a couple from the Congo, who welcomed me to minister in their church through song and dance, together with the little children. Because of this connection, I knew the Lord was still writing His story and fulfilling His bigger plan.

Another five years later, I found myself in the DRC on a mission trip, raising an altar unto the Lord.

    • God designed Africa, her womb and her offspring to carry His glory, His blessing and His never-ending potential.

    • This book seeks to bring a divine revelation of a unique calling to redeem the stolen womb of humankind and to preserve the seed and the redemptive gifts. Individuals, families, the church, peoples, cities and nations each have a womb; each have unique redemptive gifts and each have divine prophetic destinies. However, without healthy wombs to carry these redemptive gifts and holy seeds, there is no hope for the people and the nations to ever fulfil God’s divine prophetic destiny for each person. In the womb is where life begins. Where there is a womb, there is great potential.

    • In this book I share my testimony of how the Lord drew me out of deep darkness and journeyed with me through divine deliverance from this very painful and very dark past, giving me a deep revelation of Himself and His divine will and releasing me into the intercessory and the prophetic ministry, and graciously making me part of His redemptive story. This book aims to bring hope to the lost, the condemned, the guilty, the shameful, the nameless, the rejected, the suffering, the confused, the angry, the hurting and the searching. It aims to help them heal, discover, recover and understand their redemptive gifts, and thereby fulfil their divine prophetic destinies and mandates. This book is for anyone who has or who has not committed adultery, abortion, murder, gone through divorce, stolen, worshipped ancestors, or been involved in witchcraft or the like.

    • There is a great deal of searching among many people of our continent, Africa, especially among our youth – searching for identity, origins, purpose and belonging - all with the hope of finding a connection to a certain god with whom they can identify. This book seeks to reveal the heart of God, His DNA and His divine presence in Africa. It also brings various prophetic words from God, for the continent.

    • When God created Adam and Eve, He put them in the Garden of Eden. He blessed them and commanded them to be fruitful and to multiply, to subdue the earth and to have dominion over all living things. However, sin happened when Adam and Eve accepted the serpent’s evil suggestion that they should eat the forbidden fruit. Because of this error, misalignment took place. They lost their intimacy with God; they lost their place, their dominion, their divine fruit and divine blessing. As a result of this, all mankind sinned and suffered the same consequences. Adam and Eve’s offspring also lost intimacy with God, losing the blessing and the fruit (Genesis 1-3).

    • Throughout all the following generations, God could not find anyone who was worthy to stand in the gap and restore mankind to Him. Then God decided to do it Himself. His own arm worked out salvation for mankind, when He gave His one and only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. God brought His Holy Seed and planted it in the womb of a young woman named Mary, in order to redeem mankind to Himself (Luke 1, Matthew 1). The Bible tells us that the state of Mary’s heart was pure and that she was a virgin. This means her womb was also pure, clean and untouched by any man. God saw fit to use this kind of a womb to fulfil His redemptive plan.

    • Today, the Lord is still using the spiritual womb of men and women, as well as the physical womb of a woman and the physical seed of a man, to work out His redemptive plan for mankind. This is possible because of the finished work of the cross and the blood of Jesus Christ. God is still redeeming destinies of nations through those who are committed and surrendered to Him and who want to see His Kingdom come and His will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. He has given us the ministry of reconciliation (1 Corinthians 5:11-21).

    • However, because of the fallen state of mankind, the womb of the woman has also fallen. In other words, instead of carrying what it is supposed to carry to fulfil the redemptive plan of God, the womb of mankind, the womb of nations, is carrying the wrong seed. It has been impregnated with the wrong seed. As he did in the Garden of Eden, the enemy, the serpent, has found a way of penetrating the womb of a woman and planting his evil seed in order to divert destiny. He, Satan, the enemy of our God, is on a quest to draw lives to his own kingdom - a kingdom that is, however, to perish very, very soon.

    • The book also seeks to encourage unity in marriage and unity in the Church. It aims to awaken the church to fulfil her calling to lay down her life for others, so she can be a relevant and true instrument of reconciliation, producing multiple births and launching countless destinies. It also seeks to inspire the Church to go beyond birthing and helping others to birth, but to go on to participate in the nurturing and maturing of its offspring – to see them flourish and bear more fruit and reach their divine prophetic destinies.

    Chapter 1

    So the journey began

Your eyes saw my substance being yet unformed. And in Your book they were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none.

    Psalm 139:16 NKJV

    Stolen destinies

Growing up in the village of eMarhambeni at Umzimkhulu in the former Transkei, South Africa, I had a very vague picture of who God was and I had very little knowledge of Him. I was not born again, but I knew that He existed and He was great. I knew that He had a son named Jesus Christ, who came to die for my sins. I understood there was a heaven and a hell, and that good people who obeyed God would go to heaven, and those who did not obey Him would go to hell. So, I feared God because I feared hell. I really did not know a lot about Him as a loving Father.

My family was Catholic and growing up we did all the Catholic rituals. Things such as having to memorise a couple of Bible verses, read certain books and do an oral test in order to qualify to take communion. The emphasis was more on Mary, the mother of Jesus, than on Jesus. So my understanding of the way to the Father was distorted. As for the need for true salvation, I did not even know I needed it.

My family also believed strongly in ancestral worship, which is worship of the dead. One of my aunts was a sangoma (witchdoctor). My father, as the eldest son of the deceased grandparents, took on the responsibility of hosting all the traditional gatherings in the family, including initiation and graduation rituals associated with my aunt’s ancestral worship calling and training as a sangoma.

As a young girl, I always had a heart for the poor and the destitute. I knew that I had to impact the lives around me positively and bring hope to the hopeless. I guess my destiny was talking to me. I hated poverty; I also hated and feared witchcraft and death, which were constantly staring me in the face. These evils were happening in the surrounding villages and were a daily topic of conversation. The only hope of protection we were told we had from such evils was the use of muti (traditional medicine), and perhaps the so-called holy waters, obtained from certain priests in Catholic circles.

Prayer was never really used as a shield of protection. We only knew memorised prayer and had no actual relationship with God.

Somehow, however, it seems as though people loved to be at my home. We always had people around, either visiting or coming for a gathering or traditional celebration. No matter how small the occasion, the turnout always exceeded expectations and included many children.

My family was fairly large. My parents had six children; my four brothers, my sister and then myself as the last born in the family. We also had brothers and sisters born out of wedlock on my father’s side. The number of grandchildren had multiplied to more than thirty by the time I began to write this book in the early 2000s. There was definitely multiplication and the fruit of the womb was there, but it was all misplaced and misaligned.

Traditionally, having children out of wedlock was a very bad thing. In fact, it brought shame to families. The Bible also says it is a great sin to have a child out of wedlock. However, that child is still a living soul, made in the image of God. Regardless of how the child came into being, that child needs to be accepted. However, this was not the case when we grew up. The existence of many children who were born out of wedlock in my family was kept a secret, for the sake of keeping peace in the marriages, as well as to avoid shame in the communities. Therefore, the children had to suffer for their parents’ mistakes.

I also had my first child out of wedlock when I was eighteen, bringing great shame on the family, especially on my mother, who always felt responsible for her children’s mistakes. She always took the blame and carried the burden of having to explain to the family and the community any wrongs that happened in the family. So, for me to fall pregnant was like a big blow to her stomach.

But, needless to say, my daughter ended up bringing much joy to my mother. She grew to be a great blessing to our family and to the Kingdom of God.

My journey with the Lord begins

Fast forward to 2007 – I am now thirty-two, living in Johannesburg and married with three children – my stepson, and my two daughters. I was born again, and so was my husband, glory be to God. As a matter of fact, we both got born again a few months before our wedding, which had taken place six years earlier. We underwent water baptism after we got married. At our church, if a couple was getting baptised, the pastors and elders would baptise the husband first, and then he would baptise his wife with the help of the elders. So I was baptised by my husband. Our lives entailed going to work during the week, attending a home group meeting one evening a week, and church on Sunday. We were active in the church; my husband sang in the choir and I served in the children’s church. Our children went to youth services on Fridays and Sundays. So driving them, together with our neighbours’ children, to church and youth services was very much part of our lives. We were growing in the Lord and hungry for more.

At home, I had just started a children’s ministry. I had children from the age of six to fourteen years coming to our house almost daily after school for a Bible lesson. I was learning to pray more and more, but I had no deep knowledge, nor had I received teaching on prayer and intercession. I was seeking the Lord more but I was also starting to experience attacks from the enemy and was clueless about what to do about it.

One fateful Sunday, after church, I was chatting with a particular sister whom I later understood was God-sent. She asked me, "Have you ever read a book by Choo Thomas, titled Heaven is So Real? As I had not heard about this book, she went on to say, Please go get it. It has changed my life." She did not tell me much about it, except that Choo Thomas, who wrote the book, was a woman who had encountered the Lord Jesus Christ. She was taken to heaven several times by the Lord and on one occasion she was taken on a trip to hell, and there she saw her own mother. I was hungry for God and I knew I had to get the book.

That same afternoon, my husband and I went to a Christian bookshop and I got the book. My husband also bought me a book by Rebecca Brown, titled Spiritual Warfare.

These books were not bought to replace the Word of the Lord, the Bible. As a result, before I began to read the book Heaven is So Real, I prayed and asked Holy Spirit to guide me. I was hungry to know more about the things of the Lord
