About this ebook

Apparently, capitalism does offer many benefits, but what about socialism? Does it live up to its hype and are there
examples of incredible successes. Has socialism demonstrated sustainability, or created unintended ill effects? Can
socialism create a more equitable society, without jeopardizing our rights and freedoms?
These are the questions those leaning towards socialism need to consider. Switching to another political system
would have a profound effect on each American, the nation, and the world. Consequently, it isn't a decision one
should undertake without a thorough understanding of the potential implications.

A Harvard Youth Poll conducted in the spring of 2020 found 51 percent of those between the ages of 18 and 29 years of age wanted to see government institutions reformed. While this isn’t particularly surprising considering the current state of the world, a further 39 percent want to see a new government model. Since the U.S. has always valued capitalism, this is a significant, new development.
