    CHAPTER ONE

    MODERN ATTITUDE TOWARDS SEX

    All around us these days we see sexual barriers breaking down in all cultures. Among younger people, the original restraint towards sex has diminished considerably and today people indulge in sex much more freely. Many unmarried men and women are living together even those who profess to be born again Christians are caught up in sexual permissiveness. But what people fail to realize is that such casual relationships may not end well.

    People need to be able to tell their partners that it is not good to have sex before marriage without feeling guilty. If they say Unless you have sex with me, you don’t love me it means that he or she doesn’t love you. You need no longer be afraid to refuse casual sex but be rather able to talk with the partner about your decision to stay holy for the Lord. Some people who fear the Lord have regretted sexual permissiveness because they believe that it is wrong.

    Increasingly, in today’s society, couples decide to live together, and have children (common law marriage). And so, the question is often asked, "If a woman becomes sexually liberated against society’s holy sexual values, will marriage
