It’s my first day back at school,

Seeing all my friends again will be so cool!

I’m in a different grade this year,

It will be challenging, but I have no fear.

I live very close to school, and I was walking quickly to get there.

I noticed some girls were ahead of me, making fun of another girl’s hair.

I saw that they made the girl feel bad,

So I caught up with her, wanting to take away her sad.

I heard what they said to you, telling her they were mean.

I really like your hair, it looks so curly and clean.
