But you want to change yourself and not allow Him to do His job. What is normal to a believer is always going to be abnormal to the world. PREFACE

The purpose of this book is to explain people’s atmospheres. You can waste a considerable amount of time in your life trying to make things happen that only God can do. This spiritual revelation was given to me when I had nothing left but the promises of God to bring me out.

At that time, I realized how blessed I was to be able to spend time with the Lord and in His Word. The encouragement of God’s Word along with His important principles have been the motivating forces behind this book. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength (Isaiah 26:3–4).

INTRODUCTION

God controls the final outcome of all that we do. We are accountable to carry out His works with diligence and disciplined training and not laziness. Creating an Atmosphere for the Promises of God is a teaching book that will challenge you regarding your responsibilities as a Christian.

God’s plan for His people is that they have wisdom. Only when we choose God’s path in life will He grant us wisdom. When we have that wisdom, then we have the ability and responsibility to create an atmosphere of high moral standards in every relationship. You can begin to relate to others and not be influenced by the atmospheres that they are in.

This book also challenges you not to accept what the world puts in your path in this life. You must be able to exercise your spiritual authority for yourself and others in your life. Creating an atmosphere shows and teaches you how the Word of God will deliver you from dead people and things in your life.

I once was looked at as dead because of where I lived. My family was living in a dead neighborhood. Because we resided there, we were looked at as just being people who would never have or be anything in life. But by studying the Word of God, I learned that it’s never too late for God’s presence to make a difference in your life. He will meet you wherever you are.

You have true deliverance in your life when you have total and complete control over the thing that once controlled you. You have the power within you to bring forth the promises of God into your life regardless of the atmosphere around you. It is never too late to make a difference in your life as well as in the lives of others. You have to be a determined person and study, mediate, and learn. You must not let where you live or what you have make a difference regarding what you know that belongs to you.

You were ordained to fight the good fight of faith. You must start by creating an atmosphere for the promise of God, regardless of where you are in life today. It’s never too late to begin again. Whether you believe it or not, you don’t have to wait for a new year to begin a new change. We have to say about ourselves only what God has said about us and not what the enemy says. Show others in your atmosphere that God is still in complete control in your life. I learned that faith is going to respond to you regardless of where you are or what you have or what you been through. You could be in a dead neighborhood, a bad marriage, prison, a hospital, or financial debt; you could be jobless, homeless or disabled. He is an on-time God. A change starts with you and begins in the atmosphere that you create.

CHAPTER 1

My Identity in Christ

Sometimes in life, you can allow the smallest actions to demonstrate the biggest impact. You tend to spend a lot of time paying too much attention and focusing on the damages that sin has already done in your life. You may feel that you have no control over it. There are a lot of things as well as people that we have no control over. But there are also a lot of things as well as people that we can and will allow to control us. There are people who are controlled by fears, habits, atmospheres, circumstances, and even the things they eat and drink.

Sometimes, we try to make people do only what God can have them do. The truth of the matter is that no one has more control over your life than you do. We often allow our thoughts, imaginations, emotions, attitudes, and words, as well as our atmospheres, to control us. Those are small actions that we sometimes do not pay much attention to because we are too busy focusing on the damages that they have already done in our lives. You can magnify the problems or the promises. If you take the time to focus on God and the promises that He has for you in your life, you won’t have time or room in your life for anything less than what He said He would do for you. You must adapt a Godly mind-set and not focus on what has already happened to you.

Your past cannot control your future unless you allow it to. Do not focus on what has happened to you. You must focus on what you have left. God can do a lot with a little. The smallest actions will have the biggest impact in your life. You will say what’s on your mind. A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards (Proverbs 29:11).

You will do what you feel like doing, and most of the time, you will find yourself only thinking about what you see, feel, and hear when it is not the Word of God. For as, he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee, but his heart is not with thee (Proverbs 23:7). You will never really know how much control and power you have until you learn who you really are in Jesus Christ.

Learning your identity is a vital part of life. Knowing who you are now plays a huge role in your destiny and eternity. The Devil will stop at nothing to keep you from knowing who you really are. Satan will aggressively fight against the renewal of your mind; your flesh is going to fight wisdom. But it is vital that you press on and continue to pray and study until you gain measurable victory in your life.

The more time you spend with God, the closer you become to Him. Also, the more experience you have with Him, the more you trust in Him. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my father glorified, that ye bear much fruit, so shall ye be my disciples (John 15:7).

It does not bother the Devil if you know the Word of God; he knows it too, his assignment is to convince us that it’s not true. You only become a threat to him when you are committed to what you believe. He will use anybody or anything to bring about distractions that keep you from growing in Christ.

This book is dedicated to everyone who has allowed his or her atmosphere to control him or her. Just as there are a lot of things that we have no control over, there are also a lot of things that we have complete control over. Knowing who you are in Christ, along with His will for you in the kingdom of God, releases into your life the revelatory knowledge of your divine nature along with supernatural manifestations. The promises of God will be brought forth in your life and in the lives of those you love. If you fail to know who you are in Jesus Christ, then you will not know God’s will for your life, and you won’t receive what already belongs to you. You will fail to keep what you already have
