About this ebook

"Blackout" is a story of Judith, an actress on the brink of her breakout role, who is passed out in a hotel room. Karl, an ambitious movie producer, helps her regain her consciousness, explains her role in the most controversial movie of the 1960's, and reveals the devil in the details.

"Pawn Sacrifice" takes place in Boston on March 18, 1990. That day was a special day for a delivery driver named Jesús, it was also special to some powerful people. In this game called life, pawns are sacrificed to protect the royalty interest.

"Mari Kann", her mother, and her World War-vet father try to survive one of the worst domestic terrorist attacks in US history.

From America to Africa, you have those who mock God, some who question him, and others who use his name fraudulently. But all praise the mighty dollar, so of course a 10-carat flawless red diamond, named "Rica", affects lives on both continents.

What if the seven deadly sins were manifested as an immortal family, whose members each can possess any human who carries that sin in their heart? Also, what if some powerful people discovered their existence? "The Pecados" are that family, and they're in the sights of a private military company that has been hired by unknown sources.

Why do I write? Mainly because I'm a critical thinker that questions everything and then, questions the answers. I'm intrigued by both the human conscience and the human consciousness. I don't have a world view; I write because I have a view of the world. My values are the low-dispersion glass of my monocular as I focus my vision. We are bits of light energy on a temporary ride on Earth; it's only when we are conditioned by our environments that we start to think of ourselves by race, religion, wealth, etc. What I do, is make experiences that brings the masses together for a good time and enlightens the consciousness of those that look beyond the surface. What is EME? EME is an Extramundane Experience. The definition of extramundane is outside or beyond the physical world. No boundaries, no limits, and no rules. Just the flow of energy that illustrates a picture for the soul, illuminated with the emotions that makes us human. Each story is entertaining for those just looking for a good time, with occasional breadcrumbs for those with an all-seeing eye.

As one of my assignments, my professor asked me to come up with a flash fiction based off this picture.

I took one good look, and this is what I came up with.

Karl sprung off the bed that he was sitting on and dashed to the bathroom. He grabbed the curtesy cup, ripped off the plastic wrapper, and turned the cold-water valve of the sink. As the hard-plastic cup filled up with water, Karl looked over at Judith. She is passed out on the bed that’s adjacent to the one he was sitting on. He looked in the mirror, raised his eyebrows high above his blue eyes, and exhaled a deep breath. The water flowed on his hands. He turned the sink off and dashed to Judith.

The bathroom is on the same side of the room as the dresser. Both are across from the double twin beds that are separated by a nightstand, which has a telephone and an alarm clock on it. Both white leather cushion headboards are flush
