Introduction
Well, English is not your first language, right? But do you want to speak and write English like an American? If you have higher language proficiency, will it make a big difference to your career?
But does this happen to you?
You have been working hard, reading books, listening to podcasts, and watching lots of American movies. Yet somehow, you are still not sure about the English you write and speak.
That is, when you speak in front of your coworkers, you don’t know if your English is good enough. And when you email, you are not sure if there are problems with your English.
In a word, you lack confidence in your English, no matter how hard you have been trying.
So is there anything you can do about it? Yes, of course. My more than 20 years of teaching English (to non-native speakers, people like you whose first language is not English) keep telling me that there are two things missing. Which two?
