Chapter 1
Get her!
Someone shouted. Enderbrine saw flashes of torchlight from behind the huge pine trees. Players were coming towards her with iron swords and glowing purple armor. They looked angry. She turned and ran through the dark forest. The only light came from her white eyes. She couldn't see more than a few blocks in front of herself.
The players were gaining on her. Enderbrine looked around for any skeletons or creepers that could help her, but she couldn't find any.
You can't run, freak!
One of the players yelled. They were really close now. Enderbrine tried to fly, but it was like she was in game mode zero. None of her powers were working. Now she was even more terrified. She had never had to survive without her powers before.
There was a streak of white light and the player closest to her fell to the ground. She whipped her head around to see what had taken him out.
Standing in a cloud of black smoke was Herobrine. Enderbrine's heart pounded. She hadn't seen her father in a while.
Father-
She started to say.
Go!
Herobrine shouted at her. Don't stop running no matter what happens!
Enderbrine nodded and resumed running. The forest seemed to stretch on forever, and there were no mobs anywhere. She was starting to get hungry. The feeling was new to her. She stopped in a small clearing to catch her breath. She looked behind her and listened. It didn't sound like anyone was around.
Then a twig snapped. Enderbrine turned her head in the direction of the noise.
Hello?
She called. She hoped that the twig had been snapped by a friendly enderman and not a mad Minecrafter. Is someone there?
A figure stepped out of the shadows. Enderbrine recognized his skin, but couldn't remember his name.
Enderbrine.
The figure said her name. Enderbrine, don't go-
The figure started to melt. Lava poured down above him, catching the surrounding trees and grass on fire. She couldn't stop herself from screaming.
***
Enderbrine woke up in her bed. She looked around as if she didn't recognize her own room.
The doors to her room swung open and a skeleton guard burst in.
Are you alright, miss?
He asked.
Enderbrine nodded. Yeah. Everything is fine.
She dismissed the guard and got out of bed. She silently crept out of her room and down the hall to her sister's room.
She knocked on the wooden doors. Lavabrine? Are you awake?
She called. There was no reply. Enderbrine opened the door and peered into Lavabrine's room. Her sister wasn't there.
Have you seen Lavabrine?
Enderbrine asked a passing creeper guard.
Your ssisster went out for ssome fressh air late lasst night. Nobody hass sseen her ssince then.
The guard
