    Dacian stared at himself in a viewing pool and relished in what he believed to be his perfection. His buck teeth protruding wildly with an overbite; his thinning hairline, a true sign of his virility as his father had told him it was. His three fingered hand rubbed his smooth head and flung what little hair there was to the side.

    Satisfied with his appearance, he slipped away and put on some clothes. He caught the attention of a woman in his passing through the streets to the ports. Her name was Kloria and was his fancied woman of the night. She wasn’t dressed for work, but he made his way to her anyways with a small pouch of coins.

    Here’s your tip from the other night, his breath smelled of rotten flesh, and Kloria drew closer to his face allured by his stench.

    She politely accepted the pouch. She spoke with a slight northern accent, a bit of slurred twang. I thank you kindly Dacian. But you and I both know that you shorted me. Boss did not like that, said I’m not to see you anymore.
