Developing the right attitude

If you are thinking of becoming a working medium then it is imperative to have the right attitude to go with it. Of the many people who decide to work as a medium most will fail simply because they do not have the right attitude, by this I mean several things, whilst you are determined to want to work with spirit if your approach is somewhat light hearted, maybe as a beginner to see if it really is true or whether it works or not is not an attitude that I would recommend. Spirit know the main reason why you want to work with them, you will not be able to fool spirit so it is best right from the start to go into this subject with as much honesty for yourself and for others.

Some people just think its a cool thing to be a medium so they too decide its for them, however again many with this attitude will fail. Spirit do not like people who choose to do gods work by having big egos you have to leave all this behind. mediumship is quite hard to achieve at the best of times so it is very important that you understand this point. You could work and study for years but if you have an attitude which lacks sincerity and openness then you are destined to see no results.

By being honest caring and sincere with yourself first then with others you will start to see results there can be no other choice when working with spirit it is always best to have a good foundation before learning how to perform as a medium. Remember many people that you will come into contact with will be grieving or looking to re connect with a loved one and you really do need to have a certain amount of compassion.

My other course will help you to learn the fundamentals of mediumship and how to sensitize yourself to spirit energy where as this course of lessons will give you the practical assistance that you need in order to actually get up on the platform and begin the readings so this is why I have begun the course on the subject of having the right attitude it is your foundation to everything else that follows in the course just like your foundation in the previous course was to learn how to protect and ground yourself. We all need a foundation that we can rely on before moving on.

My foundation to you is be open and honest not just with others but yourself too. If you remember this then you will do well and progress much faster. During my working time as a medium I have come into contact with many students who ask me to help them connect with spirit and while I do not mind helping people many have not even listened to the basics and cannot understand why they do not see results some say to me, I have been learning now for a full week, yet I still cannot give messages out. People are becoming more and more impatient in this day and age its all about wanting it right now.

I can tell you now that this will never happen when working with spirit it takes time and patience and if you feel that you have not got this then I am afraid you too will be just another statistic. You will need plenty of patience and plenty of time to read and be able to take instruction.

Mediumship can take 6 months to maybe 6 years of being self taught its like learning another language when you first start out it all sounds great but sooner or later boredom sets in and the learning becomes a thing of the past, until that is you are ready to try again. Some people just get on with it and set a certain amount of hours into learning, other are committed in other ways but the main thing is you do need to be committed and dedicated to the work in hand if you go about it in a light hearted way the results you see will also be reflected so having that approach will also be light hearted and shallow. Owe it to yourself to work hard be honest and sincere and you can achieve this skill within a short time frame. Its not difficult to learn but dedication is a big word that you will need to keep to mind. So now with the foundation attitude in
